I got a groupon for 6 Lazer treatments. I was a good candidate for lazer but 4 months later I see no results and the hair is back. I suppose I should have done more treatments. And I do see some reduction albeit not a dramatic one. The reason I gave more stars is that their definition of a treatment area is smaller than I expected. They want you to pay more to cover more space. So, check what they call a "zone" or "area" exactly before you pay for a package. Chances are , you will end up paying $30 more for something they call "extended" each visit. Also I felt they tried to rush with my treatments making them only 4 weeks apart so I had to argue with them because I felt my hair grows slower. read more

I got laser hair removal it was an ok place doesn't seem completely professional before Covid it seemed good. But my first appointment back after March (Covid happening) the glasses that everyone wears had finger prints which makes me feel they weren't cleaned. I bought a groupon for 6 sessions they did not extend it for after a year even though they were closed for months during Covid. This place is exceptional and seriously the BEST in Chicagoland for laser. I am so happy that I came here! Professional, knowledgeable, impressive results and attractive pricing. If you have any anxiety about getting treatments right now, I felt very comfortable with staff properly wearing masks, actively disinfecting surfaces, wearing gloves and hand sanitizer available. I have had a few treatments at inSkin. To be fair, the technician is nice. The technology used for the laser hair removal treatment is not the most effective available in the market, but you get what you pay for. I learned these details after I booked by procedures. So, to this extent, the results are medium, but I also paid cheap, so I cannot complain. Some might consider paying a little more for better results.  I am happy with my groupon deal considering cost benefit. I do not recommend paying full-price unless they change the type of lase technology.   What I am not satisfied with is that there is no flexibility with the cancellation fee and you have no access to customer service. Yes, I signed a paper where I agreed to the policy. But life happens and as part of good customer service, you manage exceptions. I explained I tried to call earlier, when I received their very nice friendly reminder. However, the international call did not go through. I was late by 35 minutes after my deadline.  I decide to post the online review when I was told I could not call or email the doctor who makes the rules because "she does not talk to patients. She only takes appointments at $100". This is 2019, when customer service might be what differentiates one supplier from another. If I had been able to communicate with management and they said no, I would not be as disappointed as I am with paying a cancellation fee.   Small details but probably will not affect other customers as this may not happen often. If they change locations, you do not have the option to cancel your package.     I am debating whether I will go back to finish the last treatment on my package. However, rather than buying new treatments at a regular price, I might consider trying another place via Groupon. read more

Ive been going here for quite some time before Covid and during. It's a very safe, clean, and homey space. The techs that work here are super sweet and the staff works to fit me in as much as possible. Prices are reasonable and they usually have deals going. Pros: The location is very nice, smells incredible, and is very clean The staff is lovely and helpful Cons: They didn't put anywhere near enough numbing ointment on before my co2 laser treatment, and didn't even cover the complete area that they lasered. I can vouch for this because I went with my friend who is an esthetician and she verified this. It is also standard practice in laser resurfacing to clean the face first, and that didn't happen. It's been about 2 months since my treatment and there are STILL grid marks on my face, which is usually a result of an untrained technician. I did notice smoother skin, and this place has potential, but I also have grid dots all over my cheeks, and it sucks knowing that I could have had a lot less pain, and knowing that they didn't follow complete laser protocol. read more

OMG!!! Where do I start!!! I LOVE LOVE this establishment !!! My skin is looking FABULOUS!!! I started buy buying the Groupon and love the results so I have bought the packages that they offer, talk about a great price point!!!! They are so nice and give the BEST advise on how to move forward and keep the regimen going I was checking out and this lady was trying to use different Groupon that she obviously had someone else buy since she was trying to make more appointments, I just wanted to scream and say hey lady the prices after Groupon are more then fair and everyone needs to make money in this world, I cant stand cheap people and she needs to be schooled on prices of services. If she went downtown she would of paid 3 times the price that INSKIN charges...not to mention that they use top of the line machines they are not some cheap machines that Amazon sells....LOL!!! read more

I'd give zero stars if that was an option. So many shady things happened that I'm surprised this place is still LEGALLY running. DON'T GO HERE! There's a chance that you'll get INCREASED HAIR GROWTH! Also, they won't HELP YOU, if the treatment doesn't work. On the day of my last treatment after 5 other procedures my face and neck got even MORE HAIRY than when we began. This was a risk that I WAS NOT made aware of before starting the process. She said it was in the contract that we signed at the beginning. I asked for a copy, she gave me the last page which just had my info on it. I said I wanted the whole contract and she said no. Eventually she gave us the contract, and surprise it says nothing about INCREASED HAIR GROWTH. Also, she won't give us the paper work about the laser settings used on my face until she speaks with the doctor. Makes no sense as to why I can't have access to that information. We were ignored and treated horribly when we expressed any complaints. Lastly, it's not like this had come up suddenly. After each treatment I stated my concerns with not seeing results, but everyone's surprised that I wasn't happy at the end. This was worst experience I've ever had, and now I'm stuck after spending over $350 with a face that's MORE HAIRY than before and they offered nothing to help.
