In and out in 12 minutes!…read more I was worried about going here bc of all the negative reviews. I am glad that I went anyway. Communication: I received a reminder text this morning. Thank goodness bc I completely forgot the appt! Parking: The lot was pretty full but I had no trouble finding a spot. I saw a few more near me as well. Check in: After parking, I clicked on the link in my text message and checked in from my car about 1 min early for my 11:00 appt. I walked in to see my name up on the screen already, so I knew it worked. A couple of minutes later they called my name. Service/Care: The phlebotomist was very sweet and cheerful. We chatted and after a quick poke she had 3 vials of blood. Above and beyond: I misspelled my name when setting the appointment and I was sure that it would cause confusion, but she figured it out no problem. She was patient while I got my insurance ID up on my phone to verify. I felt compelled to leave a review since the whole experience was the complete opposite of what some others reported. Have an appointment. Be on time. Remember that sometimes things happen - maybe a bathroom breaks, a phlebotomist calls in sick, a young patient takes 30 min longer than expected bc they are scared... Who knows what could happen? Luckily none of that happened while I was there and I recommend this location.

He tapped into a small vein and couldn't even get 1 tube of blood. He then said I needed a special "butterfly" needle. Another older nurse came and said that was not necessary and just took my blood from the other arm. It was done quickly. A few weeks later, I just got an email that they lost my blood samples. I also have a giant dark bruise that stayed for 2+ weeks. This has never happened to me before. Incompetent staff. Avoid this place.

I have an unusual condition called the nutcracker syndrome along with pelvic congestion. Two other doctors treated parts of the problem, and they were great as well, but Dr. Padidar understood the systemic issues created by the syndrome and aggressively tackled it. The bonus was that while he was doing the procedure he was teaching others about what he was doing and so ultimately, I had a team of doctors taking care of me. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I do not feel fatigued all the time, and I have more energy because my circulation is now functioning properly. Dr. Padidar takes his time to explain all of the imaging, the scope of the problem and how he is going to address it before the surgery, then afterward, did the same to explain what he did. He is amazing! I am grateful for his skill, insight, and compassionate care.

I arrived at 8:00 AM as a walk-in patient and have now been waiting for over two hours. During this…read moretime, I asked the front desk several times about the queue, and each time I was told to keep waiting because there were patients with appointments ahead of me. However, what I observed is that the system here does not seem to consider walk-in patients at all. Even if someone arrives later for a 9:30 appointment, they are still placed ahead of walk-in patients who have already been waiting since early morning. This means that walk-in patients' time is continuously pushed back, and effectively our time is being wasted. What is even more concerning is that when I tried to ask about this situation, the staff responded by saying that I was "arguing." English is not my first language, but asking reasonable questions about the process should not be interpreted as arguing. Instead of addressing the issue with the system or explaining how walk-in patients are handled, multiple staff members seemed to focus on criticizing me for asking questions. It felt like I was being treated unfairly simply because I was trying to understand the situation and advocate for walk-in patients. After waiting here for two hours, I was even told that I should go somewhere else. That is extremely frustrating and unfair after such a long wait. I believe the current system is not respectful of walk-in patients' time, and the way this situation was handled--especially toward someone who is not a native English speaker--is very disappointing. I hope this concern can be taken seriously and that the process for walk-in patients can be improved so others do not have to experience the same situation.

The Hospital and staff are fantastic…read more The main issue is the parking. There is next to no handicap parking, (far less than a hospital should have, at any rate) and the Valet is often not there, like to take your car, or to bring it back. I've noticed on super busy days they only have one valet at the stand in front of the Building Q. So cars and people waiting to retrieve their cars are stacked up waiting on one poor valet to hustle around getting everyones cars taken care of. The valet service needs to HIRE more people and PAY them better so they stay with the company. This screams bad management. No one should be the only person at a valet stand. Especially not at a busy hospital when people have appointments to get to on time, and there is next to no ADA parking.

No nurse EVER came in to check up on us or say "the doctor is running late...." Perhaps if there was so communication, I wouldn't write such a horrible review, but this was just awful! After the doctor spent 2 minutes looks at my son's broken wrist, he said "looks like he healed fine...." Which his wrist was STILL SWOLLEN! We went to Stanford and his PCP there was PISSED! She said he needed to wear his wrist brace at LEAST 6-8 more weeks as she ordered 2 X rays and OT! This doctor dismissed my son since he's an older teenager and said he'd be fine..... ughhhh
