Melanie was one of a small handful of daycares with space and looking back I think the timing of everything was just serendipitous. I can't imagine a more wonderful caretaker and teacher for my daughter. She's not only kind, loving, and incredibly grounded, she's also attentive to the individual needs of every child she cares for and creates a consistent environment. My daughter had trouble napping and had some stranger anxiety. Melanie worked with us to acclimate her and had her on a nap schedule within the first 2 weeks. To top it off, she teaches so well that my now 20 month old is singing her abc's and knows her shapes. She comes home with holiday projects. It's a home environment that feels like leaving my daughter with family and I couldn't recommend a better place!
