I went online to do some research and found that Dr. N performed what was then new, minimally invasive surgery. Fast forward 7 years and my left (non surgery foot) has been giving me trouble. Went to see him and they went through the normal X-ray procedure. But here's the difference. The X-ray technician was the funniest guy I've ever met. Even though he does this many times per day, it was very personal (and funny). Dr. Neufeld is good at what he does too, he got a test authorization from my insurance company when he said they normally don't. I trust this Dr and this practice. You should too.

Maria has an online scheduler, too, so your appointment dates and times are easy to reschedule when that kid or friend needs help as long as you cancel 24 hours in advance. Alternatively, I would have taken my chances with the 30% of tendon left and managed the occasional flare-ups in lieu of surgery.

Her name is Ligia (pronounced Leah) and she proceeded to provide maximum relaxation via a deep tissue/Swedish combo massage. Listen, I actually went to sleep and had to be awakened! I was not ready to go! The best way to describe her hands, was like a body facial application! Her hands were buttery soft but woah the pressure was spot on!! It felt like I was floating hence I went to sleep! Towards the end, face up was time spent on my scalp, face and Decollete...who knew I needed that soooo bad! It was heavenly!! I got there around 8:30 AM (they opened at 8 AM). I signed in and sat down for maybe 5 minutes before I was seen by Dr. Brittany A. She was extremely polite, friendly and diagnosed me with a Sinus infection and gave me the Z-Pack. A week or so went by and I was feeling a bit better, but nowhere near 100%. On Saturday, I began feeling worse, and had a fever and shortness of breath. My wife drove me back to the Urgent Care on Sunday AM and I was seen immediately. The receptionist (I believe her name was Sarah), took me to get a chest X-ray and to make sure it wasn't a serious matter. She was very polite and made me feel comfortable during the exam. She brought me and my wife into an exam room and waited only a few minutes to been seen by the Physician. Again, I saw Dr. Brittany A., who advised me there was some fluid in my lungs and would treat me for pneumonia. She put me on a breathing machine for approximately 10-15 minutes, which helped me with my breather. Dr. Brittany discharged me with a stronger antibiotic and albuterol (inhaler). Dr. Brittany was again, extremely polite, courteous, professional and really cared about my health. I began feeling better after about five days. Because of the way she treated me (and my wife), I will continue to visit this Urgent Care when I get sick. I am giving this review a 4 not a 5 because one of the assistants was not as personable and kind and caring as the two women mentioned above. Thank you.

Take the stairs up to get to the entrance of the Urgent Care Center. The other way to find a place is to park in the garage and then walk around on the outside of the garage to find the stairs that lead to the entrance of the Urgent Care center. There are signs on the walls that will indicate the Urgent Care Center. Cons: First, they give you forms that are copied from an original that was obviously highlighted so you can't see some of the words. I don't understand why they can't get a clean copy of the forms. Second, the forms are outdated and do not have a lot of room for you to write your medical history, medications, etc. Third, the medical assistant needs more tact in communication. She opened the door and pointed in my direction, but I was sitting around a group of people, so it wasn't clear who she was pointing to. She should have announced the last name of the person. It's rude to point fingers at people. I tried to clarify if she was asking for me to come up, and then, she says yes you. She has very poor communication skills. She does not greet you at all. She doesn't explain the process or what to do after the visit is over. I have managed medical clinics, so I know what I am talking about. Pros: The receptionist seemed proficient. The place is clean and seems organized. The wait is usually not that long, but you can always call ahead to see how long the wait is. The physician assistant seemed proficient and was friendly. As with any medical visit, always call ahead to confirm if they take your insurance and bring your ID and insurance card(s), a list of your current medications, medical conditions/history, and other names of your other doctors to make it easier. I would visit them again to give them another chance if I ever needed Urgent Care again. I hope they use this feedback to improve.

I tried the Art of Massage on a recommendation from someone at work and am glad I did. I initially reached out to Kim, but she was unavailable. She suggested I try Christina. I set up my appointment and the availability was awesome. She was able to accommodate me late in the evening during the week. This is key for me since family commitments make it difficult to find the time. I had a one hour massage with Christina after a quick 10-15 minute introduction session. As a runner I made it clear I wanted deep muscle therapy and wanted help with general flexibility. She was awesome. She had a great intuition for just how much pressure to apply. She also knew when to provide additional attention to any problem area. It really is the best massage I've had in this area. After our one hour session, she spent a little bit of extra time helping me out with some stretches and provided some great ideas for how to stretch while sitting at a desk all day. Truly a great massage and I will definitely be going back. Give the Art of Massage a try and you will walk out of there in better condition than when you walked in.

After working on my back with impressive endurance for an hour, my back felt looser than ever. The stiffness was significantly reduced.
