The problem came when the IRS did not post my final payment. I received a bill from the IRS saying that I owed them over $2000. I sent the letter and the proof of payment to them and asked them what happened? They told me that I had to call the IRS to find out why they didn't post my payment. I even reverified that they were not going to make that call for me. My taxes are complicated, and I have had a CPA prepare my taxes and electronically file them every year for the past 30 years. Things like this don't happen often, but when they do THE CPA IS THE ONE WHO CALLS THE IRS ON MY BEHALF!! If there were an error on the preparation of the document, then I would have been at a loss to explain it. I ended up waiting on the phone for 4 hours and was able to get it straightened out myself. However, I am now looking for another accounting firm because this is not the level of service I require. At the same time, as I said, they prepared my taxes accurately, so I don't think it's fair to give them just one star. I'm not sure I would recommend them though, just based upon the fact that they aren't going to help you if anything goes wrong.

They have agreed to return my money as no National bank wants to be blasted in a negative way on Social Media. It is sad that I had to voice my opinion publicly. I am still standing by my opinion that CA Coast needs to improve their security features. When any large withdrawals are taken out of somebody's account, the owner of the account should receive a text to authorize the transaction BEFORE the money is released. My money was stolen from an Islamic Country. CA Coast should have flagged this transaction BEFORE releasing the funds. Fraud is rising daily . I have done everything on my end to prevent this from happening again. The sad reality is every time we pay a bill, make a purchase or swipe a card, there is a thief somewhere trying to steal our cash. The people we bank with also need to do their part and step up their security features.
