We are a General contractor looking for workers compensation insurance for our construction…read morecompany . We talked with Chris Lavin the representative for Rock 10 insurance to obtain quotes for our workers compensation insurance needs . He asked us for a previous quote from another insurance company and we sent this to him, He obtained a quote that we thought was accurate until the insurance company did an audit . The insurance company ended up charging our company almost three times the amount of the original quote since the reported income was more than he had quoted .But that was not the only problem he failed to get an accurate estimate of wages from our payroll . We usually obtain this from ADP our payroll processor when they ask for it . He never did ask for it or due his due diligence as a insurance broker to obtain accurate payroll information . I was quoted around $10,000 for the insurance policy and after the audit they are charging me $27,000 . I contacted Rock 10 insurance and they replied that it was my responsibility as I signed the contract . I hired an insurance broker to represent our company in obtaining insurance quotes and they have a fiduciary duty to present to the customer an honest and accurate quote. . I have filed a complaint with the insurance commissioner and they are investigating them . Do not use them for insurance if you want an accurate quote .

Not quite happy after two years of using Anna Klinova tax filing services…read more First, she is a liar, once it happened when she "Filed an extension" for late tax filing in October. She confirmed that she did file that extension but after few of my calls IRS didn't find any extwnsion. To my several requests Anna ignored all my messages to provide that copy so I ended up paying extra from my pocket. Second time she lied stating that her fees raised to $300 comparing to the last year strictly due to increase in tax preparation software price increase. When I called that software company their maximum increase was $10-$20 for different types of software. Secondly, she is ignorant to customers' requests. Upon finalizing with my 2023 late filing I asked her to send me a copy of my tax return to my email. She is also ignored my requests and any others related to tax preparation or taxation.

I have been a more than satisfied client of Falcon West Insurance Brokers for all of my personal…read moreand business insurance needs for almost 40 years. Since their inception, their various specialty agents have serviced my accounts with personal attention, timeliness and cost efficiency. This past October, I was advised by Chelsea Grell, my Commercial Lines Account Manager, that my business insurance policy would not be renewed for 2025 due to tenant operations. Chelsea then began a two month search for an alternate carrier. She contacted over 12 different carriers, seven of which declined outright. Of the remaining, pricing quotes ranged $14,000-$35,000. She tenaciously kept on until finding the best possible outcome with a premium of $3,500. Thus my 5 star rating for Falcon West, and another 5 stars for Chelsea. My initial message: "Hi Brian, I am just looking for a quote for 2023 tax filing, not to actually start it yet. We will be needing help on a couple of tax situations this year." His exact response: "Understood. I will provide a quote for 2023 during our call. I just sent the questionnaire." He then emailed me the questionnaire; I put I was interested in "Individual taxes" and sent it back to him, I NEVER put I was interested in Investment management or any other kind of financial services. So he knew this whole time I only wanted tax preparation. He still proceeded to call me today and asked a few questions related to our tax situation. Then at the end of the call he asked if I was looking for someone to manage our investments, I said not at this point...we are only looking for tax preparation now. His tone completely changed and he abruptly told me in a condescending manner we are not a good fit because they are saturated with tax preparation clients and he's looking for clients who want investment management. I was pretty shocked at the change in his tone and his annoyance once I told him I didn't need someone to manage our investments. Again, I made it VERY clear from the start I was looking for tax preparation services only from my initial message AND the questionnaire he had me fill out. I honestly don't know why he still called and was rude when he knew he couldn't take on any more clients who only wanted tax filing.
