From the initial call yesterday and staff getting me "as early as friday".....which i was happy with...than, 20 minutes later, a call from them saying they had a cancelation and if I want, "they can see me tomorrow at 1"... I said hack yes! Came in, filled the forms, within no time I was taken to get full 3d screening and X rays and within 10 minutes I was on Dr Gary Sukienik chair! He promptly and kindly examined me and told me that eventhough i came for the broken tooth, that tooth is nit his main concern as much as the one across and in the rear (#15)... he went over my options , we decided on a custom feeling for the broken one and crown for the bad one, he was extreamly reasonable and even gave me extra loving once he heard I was a disabled veteran and literally said to me..."if you can handle the chair. I'll get on you now and fix it all"....and he did...3.5 hours later, im all set and done, they do everything in house and the technology I've seen them use was mind-blowing! They answered all my questions and was so patient with me. The oral surgery went better than I expected. I wasn't sedated since I didn't have anyone that could drive me home afterwards. I decided on nitrous oxide to reduce the anxiety and fear. Dr. Melendrez gave me the novocaine and stayed in the room and chatted until it was time to get started. It was a very nice conversation and it put me at ease. He worked quick. The extraction and the bone graft took less than 15 minutes. There was barely any swelling or pain. I then got called into the "treatment coordinator's" office (her name is Charlene Mendoza). Literally the worst experience of my life. I felt like I was in trouble for not wanting to pay for the other service. She kept saying that I could get in in 5 minutes and that my appointment was pointless without the other service. I'm confused as to why they would schedule me for the first service if it was pointless without the other service? Just tell me during the phone call that I need to do the other service before the consult! I also asked if I would be able to get a generalized quote and timeline for the procedures for my teeth and this coordinator said, "oh no that's not an option. We are not just looking at one tooth. This is your whole mouth, there's a process to it and you're not his only patient." Absolutely the worst experience. Definitely not returning and don't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
