Then all hell broke loose. A female server started claiming we were rude for asking about our food. One bartender appeared to be holding another back, and that guy proceeded to make "na-na-boo-boo" faces and noises at us like a five-year-old until another bartender told him to walk away. You cannot make this up. We could've left, but admittedly, we wanted those damn burgers. What we didn't order was a grown man throwing a tantrum. Not one, not two, but three employees with an attitude over a basic food update. Being busy is understandable. Treating customers like shit isn't. Shout-out to our main bartender for trying to calm everyone down. The rest need to learn some manners. Left shocked that this is apparently how they handle a Saturday game day.

I agree with the Stan W. why all the negative reviews. I love this place. I also have to jump on the party train and give Innjoy a thumbs up for being kid friendly. We live in the area and love coming to Innjoy. My husband and I frequent Innjoy when we want to go out just the two of us, however we have discovered that Innjoy is kid friendly too. Innjoy even has a kids menu so we have recently been coming here for dinner with our 4 yr old. Best Mac N Cheese in the city if you ask me (for adults get it in the croc off the adult menu, the kids is home made but plained down for their taste buds) and the mini burgers are perfect for kids. They also offer chicken strips that are homemade (fresh cuts of chicken breast that are breaded/fried) delish! With the addition of the children's menu and the dog friendly outdoor cafe this has become our favorite "go to" places in Wicker Park for my kid/dog outings. Well, that is when the sun is shining! News flash people they serve a FULL dinner menu from open until about midnight! The service is attentive and the establisment is very clean. The bathrooms are on the small side though. When my husband and I want to hang out and leave our child at home we often head to Innjoy. Sun - Thurs Innjoy is a great hang out place. We have really enjoyed the outdoor cafe this year on warm nights although they have been far and few between. Friday and Saturday is elbow rooms only and for the party crowd. It can be a bit crowded on the weekends so we try to go there on the slower nights. But they can also be a lot of fun if that is what you are looking for. Saturday nights is a throw back to the 80's. Awesome 80's music is played and the whole bar dances and sings along. Saturday night at innjoy is definitely worth the hang over the next morning. I give it 4 stars only because parking can be tough. We walk but it is difficult to park for our friends who meet us there. But that is also par for the course in the area. There is valet in front for a fee. Fridays and Saturdays are very crowded (but that comes with being an awesome place). If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. read more

I'm sure this place would have been fun if the ridiculous bouncer would have let anyone in. I was there with a group of girlfriends and he asked us if we were going to "GREECE" him. I said what do you need to get us in? He walked away and made us wait in the cold for what seemed like forever. The place was not even full and crowds kept leaving. It was apparent he would let in some of his friends, or people slipping him $$, but no one in the line. After about 25 minutes of all of us shivering, I walked up to give him $30 bucks. He said, "For all of you? No." Excuse me Mr. 40 something year old doorman, this is not some hot club in NY. We all left. What a shame. read more

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at this Innjoy location. The hospitality was top-notch, with a welcoming bartender and manager who made us feel right at home. They even offered us a discount after an appetizer mix-up, which was very kind. The environment is wonderful for drinks and socializing. However, We did experience some food-related issues and got sick afterward, even put us out of work for a day. It might have been a one-time occurrence, but I wanted to mention it. Then he was questioning the band and their equipment in a very demeaning way. The funny thing is the band didn't take his abuse and packed up.
