The gym can be intimating when you don't know how to use the equipment or understand the right routines to get you the results you want. I have worked with their personal trainers for over 10 years. Highly recommend working with Precision Athletics.

I started going here a couple years ago. I first worked with a personal trainer. I chose to take…read morethe 1/2 hour classes as they were a bit more affordable. Plus I was told I could come up to an hour earlier to do my own warm up and stay up to an hour after and do more if I had any energy left. That half hour was time well spent. My trainer made sure I was getting the most out of my workout and pushed me to my limit. I then decided I would take a few classes. I took a spin class as I had heard it is a good work out. Plus I ride my bike to work so I figured it couldn't be that bad. The first day I strolled in everyone else in the class had on jerseys and had clipped into their pedals with their bike shoes. After listening to most of the conversation I figured most of the class were amateur competitors. Basically I walked out of there weak legged, but determined to improve. Unfortunately the class was canceled, but I actually learned a lot about riding technique that I still use today. I then took an all ladies boot camp class. I loved this class and wish they still offered it. I think they have an all ladies running class, but well my knees have informed me that they would rebel if forced to attend. Instead I took on the speed and agility class. I used to call it 'dog training' as you run through and jump over obstacles for most of the class. However, if that last description makes it sound like a breeze think again. Expect to sweat your way to a better you no matter what class you take here. The class sizes tend to be small so the instructor can make sure you are suffering just enough. The gym itself is great. The equipment is modern, clean and well maintained. The staff are all friendly and good at what they do. My only complaint is the billing system. I signed up using my credit card for 6 months of classes on a Monday night. Monday being the day that most of the stat holidays are on. I noticed on my billing that I paid for classes that were canceled on stats and for classes when the instructor was unexpectedly called out of town. I was able to easily resolve this, but should not have had to check.

I've been training with Cassandra and actually enjoyed going instead of dreading it. I've done some "free" personal training sessions when I bought a gym membership years ago and those were never fun, more like a drag and I never used up the 3 free ones I got. Cassandra makes things challenging but not so challenging that I feel like giving up or dread going next time. She pushes you as hard as you want to go. The gym is not overly crowded. There's usually only 1 or 2 people using the cardio machines and then everyone else has a trainer and is doing different exercises. If I still lived in the area and could afford it I would keep doing it as it's so much nicer to just show up and work out without having to build your own workout routine, track your weight lifting amounts and reps etc. They're also not pushy here or trying to get people into memberships or forcing them into buying more, which is nice unlike large gyms that are all about sales sales sales and then you don't go because they are packed and you're tired of waiting for equipment to use.

As soon as you walk into the facility the staff is greeting you and pumping you up for your session. Micheal was the first person I sat down with and as soon as you meet him you feel so motivated to get started on this journey to better myself. You feel so pumped up before your workout begins, it a great feeling to have so many positive people around you. I have been training mostly with Natalia and Tirra and they are both amazingly skilled trainers, who push to lift heavier and do the exercises that you dont think you can do. The workouts are consistently changing, never making any training session the same. I have been training since April and have seen major improvements in my body. I am becoming more confident with my body and its truly a great feeling!!!

I would also like to express my appreciation for Alochen's empowering educational approach to personal training, placing emphasis on teaching me skills, developing independence, and improving my self-efficacy rather than just focusing on trainung me to become dependent so he could gain another client. You can tell from the way the trainers interact with each other at the gym that they have a good culture here. They provide all the equipment and mats here at no extra cost. I've seen other gyms that don't provide mats at all so everyone just sits and stretches on the dirty floor and it grosses me out. I've attended Kettlebell Scuplt, Triple C, and HIIT classes so far with Klaudia E. and Michelle A., and they are all fantastic! Sweat from the first moment with a pretty vigorous workout. This is not like that crazed extreme I've heard about with crossfit and no one is yelling at you like you are a soldier. Imagine a more encouraging, high intensity environment that happens to smell like tea tree which they use for disinfecting. The gym is a full body studio with free weights, benches, balls and trx bands, plus they have a seperate space for classes. It's a pretty intimate space, with a max of 3 trainers (and 6 people) at any given time. They have really worked hard to maximize a small space. The only thing I wish they had was a shower space so I could go straight to work after. As someone who has been working out with personal trainers now for 1.5 years, Jesse and his team have really wowed me. It's a cardio kick in the pants and you are pretty much guaranteed to improve quickly. Jesse, AJ and Clem are all fantastic and I hear that Hannah is known as the "wedding whisperer." I've been to many typical gyms, boutique gyms, and I've been on a million fitness fads. Basically I'm like most people who have tried different kinds of work outs all throughout their lives. A lot of these places tend to take your money and leave you to it. Hannah, Jesse and the rest of their team really truly care about you and they care about helping you reach your fitness goals. Supportive, welcoming and not intimidating are just a few words to describe their very dynamic gym. They WANT you to come in and train with them. They get such a high off of seeing you get fit and will send you personal reminders to make your next appointment. Every trainer at Fit in 30 is an absolute gem. Over the few years, I've been attending, I've almost tried them all out by now! They all have their own style of training so I would recommend signing up with a different one until you find one you connect well with. They're all excellent trainers so you can't go wrong, and the flexibility to choose between trainers at the time slot you want is fantastic. There really are NO excuses not to go. I know all too well that it's easy to convince yourself that there are... but their scheduling system helps eliminate a part of that. The concept is high intensity. Yes, you've heard of it before, but they were a HIIT style gym before HIIT became popular and they're always trying to come up with new ways to bring more value to their clients. Tons of weight loss and weight maintenance talks, one on one support from your trainer, the occasional community event, fundraisers, monthly challenges, and even a free group workout session every Sunday (free for everyone - member or not)! If you're looking for results, they will get you results. All within a mere 30 minutes. There's a reason their gym is always packed with happy, returning clients (returning being the key word here). I would highly encourage you to come and experience it for yourself.
