What they say about WW (aka Weight Watchers) is true. "It works!". In the old days, you had to…read moretrack your food by writing everything down. That was always my downfall.. I would fall off the wagon after a meal or two but now it's so easy! They have an app and you just swipe to enter your foods and you are also able to scan bar codes on any foods to see what their point value is. Also you do NOT need to attend meetings and can do it 100% in the comfort of your own home. But if you are like me, there are meetings where you have a room full of mostly ladies who are extremely supportive and you can listen to a leader who has been through and succeeded doing the program themself talk about the topic of the week. You can weigh in there and the weigh in (weekly) is private. The ladies who do the weighing are the sweetest on earth! My first week I didn't know what to expect. I knew I followed the program 100% but I didn't necessarily feel like I had lost anything and with my relationship with my scale at home being what it is, I could also have gained! When she told me I had lost 4.6 lbs, I started crying! I was pretty much in shock! Each week since then I have continued to lose . Expected loss with WW is 1-2 lbs per week. In the meetings, you can sit and listen (which is mainly what I do) or you can talk but no one will twist your arm. Sometimes they give samples :) and at almost every class, they pull names out of a sack and give away small prizes. I have heard ALL the leaders are great, I have only been to two different days so far and both were great! If I had time I would go to more meetings! Well if you are reading this, I wish you luck and maybe I will see you at a meeting one day! I almost forgot to mention, you can eat just about anything and still be on the program! You are given "points" based on your weight, height etc. I personally would rather eat stuff that fills me up but if I want a burger and fries I can do it and not be cheating at all!
