I fell in love with Thai massage when my husband and I visited Thai. I came back to the San Francisco Bay area in constant search for a place that could provide the same kind of service. There were a few, and they were mostly in San Francisco. Since my move here, I had not even bothered looking because, well, Bellingham doesn't offer much in variations in regards to Asian food and other massages outside of the Chinese oil based places. Well, now Bellingham, you have another option, and you won't want to go back to whatever massages you were booking before once Pamela introduces you to her massage techniques. If I could afford her on a monthly basis, I would go there monthly. As of now, it's on my "special treat" list (Mother's Day, Birthday, Valentines, Christmas, Mental Day, etc). Fyi-- there are specials that Pamela offers. Make sure you check them out. I was lucky enough to find her during Mother's Day, where she was running 50% off massages. Yes.. that's 50% off!!!!!! For what it is worth, I am a massage therapist and instructor, with my own massage school. I get a lot of massages and I'm pretty picky. So on with the review :-) Inga has an inviting treatment space, a very comfortable and warm massage table as well as some nice soft music.  Everything that creates an environment for a great massage experience. As soon as she started working on me, on my neck specifically, I could tell that Inga had both extremely good touch and treatment skills.  As the massage played out, this became more and more evident. Her massage was slow, consistent and effective. She incorporated some dynamic stretches with wonderful soft tissue work.  Everything made sense and she had a great flow from one technique to the next. One thing that is very important to me is that my massage did not feel like it was a cookie cutter massage.  It felt like it was custom-tailored to my specific needs.  I could feel the sense of care and focus that she brings to her table and clients. Last but not least, I own three high-end, boutique massage practices in Seattle. I only hire the absolute best therapists and I would hire Inga in a minute if I thought I could.
