I went in for my very first 60 minute Reiki appointment a couple weeks ago to deal with some stress due to drastic life changes. I have been feeling jumpy and "on-edge" for a while and needed some additional help/direction to provide relief. The space was incredibly cozy and all around felt good to be in. Immediately after meeting Marie, I knew she was a right fit. I appreciated her natural ability to make me feel right at home in a new space. The treatment itself was amazing. Having had smaller Reiki sessions before, I had an idea of what to expect, but during the full hour, I felt the tightness in my abdomen relax, and my breathing become easier. By the end of the hour, I was calm, glassy-eyed, and a little out of it (in a good way). I really feel that the treatment set the tone for how I coped with my stressors the following week.
