Most of the cashiers are rude, dismissive, or completely uninterested -- it's almost impressive how consistently unpleasant they can be, no matter how polite you are. Honestly, Binny's could save a ton of money by just installing self-checkout machines. At least the robots wouldn't roll their eyes or sigh like you've asked them to file your taxes. Then there's the armed security -- they look more like they just finished doing a robbery than preventing one. I don't even feel safer with them around; it's more like shopping inside a crime documentary. And don't get me started on the parking lot -- it's a total nightmare. At night it feels sketchy, like the kind of place you might get stuck up just walking to your car. Maybe Binny's should focus on improving that experience too, because honestly, it's not that hard to just drive to the South Loop location instead. I really miss the old Binny's that used to be on the corner of 53rd in the Hyde Park Bank building -- that place was intimate, welcoming, and the staff were actually helpful and friendly. This new location, on the other hand, constantly gives you that feeling like someone's watching over your shoulder, waiting for you to steal something. I'm sure theft happens here -- but maybe take a cue from Target. They handle it quietly and strategically, without making every paying customer feel like a suspect. This location could be a great asset to the neighborhood, but right now it's just a stressful stop. Be safe.

It was 10 people in line and I waited 12 minutes. I'm not complaining about that however, when I stepped up to the counter, the young lady stated the person in front of me was the last one before our break. It was just me and an older lady roughly 80 years old left and the time was 643. When we talk about customer service this is exactly what we think about. I wouldn't even consider it going above and beyond to have given me and the lady behind us our prescriptions, but they did not in the pharmacist was right there. This is why folks are leaving Walgreens and even having it delivered or going to CVS. My tip, do better!

There are extensive delays and unnecessary in pharmacy long lines treated with cavalier indifference. Telephone calls are repeatedly placed on hold, whereupon when the phone reverts to the front counter, the entire dilatory process is repeated, as you are requested for the same info that you have already provided, and then relegated to the same waiting cyclical waiting cue without resolution. I have waited over a month for a script that had been called in that Walgreens repeatedly mishandled and attempted to wrongfully assign blame to my insurance provider. I returned to the pharmacy multiple times due to Walgreen's inept handling, as they never returned my call and made not good faith effort to provide any customer resolution. Walgren;s management and employees simply do not care. Do not patronize this pharmacy and simply find another place to fill your prescriptions. Costco pharmacy is more professional and customer centered. I will pay more and travel farther to fill my prescriptions than to patronize this abysmal clown show. Clarence B
