We stayed in Summer and our shower was double sized with two separate shower heads! Breakfast was outstanding and the porch is perfect. They had wine and cheese for us in the late afternoon. They also gave us coupons to wineries, which we used at two places and saved $50. Nice touch on each count. The house manager is really personable. Wi-Fi was very strong to our room and we were able to watch a Netflix show on the iPad. Newberg is conveniently located just south of Portland in the northern mouth of the valley. It isn't much of a town, but we didn't care. We had our wine tastings and then dinner at Joel Palmer's. Nice way to cap off this part of our trip. The location of the Inn is suburban, near an elementary school, so know that fact. We are big fans, and you will be too if you cater to a top B/B.

Every detail felt thoughtful and upscale. Breakfast was brought right to our door, and it was amazing: charcuterie, fresh fruit, and orange juice laid out beautifully. It honestly felt like the honeymoon we never got to take. The whole property is quiet, safe, and super well cared for. The staff was warm, helpful, and made us feel completely welcome. Joka is an amazing hostess, along with Maggie, the Bichon, who is super adorable. The breakfasts are something to be experienced (sad I didn't get pictures) and are the perfect way to start your day. Joka is not just an amazing hostess, she is also a wonderful cook. We stayed in the Sunflower room (Eola Hills Room), which is the only room without a bathroom in the room, however the hall bath is right there and it's private to you only so it was not a big deal. The Inn is walking distance to a quaint downtown with some great places to eat and wine taste. It is also central to driving to other little towns. If we are in the area again, this will be a must return place to stay.

The rooms are close to 200 a night and all we got was granola, yogurt and fruit? That's usually the starter, with a main item to come. We got one English muffin to split! So, if a breakfast person, I would not recommend this place.
