Ever since staying at a B&B in Napa, I ended searching for one in Seattle and stumbled upon Greenlake Guest House. I checked availability, what they offer and so forth and grew too love it and wanted to book our stay with them! Julie our host was so amazing! She was kind and attentive! When we arrived she gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room! There is a community fridge with water and sodas as well as a Keurig for coffee or tea. There was a welcome basket and bottle of wine that was provided with our stay. Julie told us that we can use their contactless app to put in our breakfast order or utilize the sheet that was provided. She told us that we can pick as little or as much as we wanted. I read great reviews on her homemade granola and definitely had to try it! After breakfast they would give you the sheet to choose breakfast for the next day. Everyday there's something different and everything that we had tried has been delicious! They bake fresh cookies everyday and you have the option to request for them on the menu and if you need your room cleaned. Julie and her staff were all so amazing to us during our stay! We really enjoyed our time here and appreciate their hospitality! Will definitely stay again whenever we visit again!

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

This place is not for…read moreeverybody - It is a hundred year old home filled with period furniture, and it's not all in new condition. The bathrooms are small and in come cases oddly configured, but that's what happens when a home is converted to a B&B. We had two rooms and found both to be clean and to have enough space for stowing clothes for a six-day stay. We didn't get a rental car this time, and found Seattle's public transportation quite adequate. There is a bus stop near the hotel and a rail station only about ten minutes walk or a cheap Lyft ride away. Given the parking situation everywhere in Seattle, we saved time, aggravation, and money. There are good bakeries and restaurants nearby (Kedai Makan Malaysian was a standout, and we enjoyed Bar Vacilando), and there is a Safeway a few blocks away. The Liberty Bar is also a destination for those who appreciate inventive cocktails. The immediate area around the inn is quiet at night, for a place in the center of a large city. Bottom line, we will be back. We could have had fancier amenities and an elevator in a modern but soulless place in another neighborhood, but prefer the character here. Note to those with allergies: they do have a cat and a dog here. Both are quiet and don't seem to go above the ground floor.

Located on a bluff above Eagle Harbor, there is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the massive expanse of water and sky. A curving set of wood and stone steps lead down to the water where one can barbeque, go kayaking, sit and relax, or walk on the beach. I saw an eagle swoop on some cormorants that were sitting out on a floating dais (they dove and easily escaped him). The view of Mt. Rainier from the beach is unique and if one walks down a ways one can see the Seattle skyline. The place is everything it is advertised to be: the windows overlook Eagle Harbor with the ferries coming and going, the kitchen is well equipped and the stove has gas burners, the bed is very comfortable, the television has more channels than I would ever watch, Wi Fi is free, the bathroom is clean and the showerhead is powerful. The owners were friendly and honored my privacy. Photographers, artists, birdwatchers, couples, small families, kayakers, an individual looking to relax - I could go on - will all find something here. I found true peace and quiet.

The view was stunning and I loved watching the ferry go back and forth each day. The weather was beautiful and I was able to sit outside at the cute table and chairs Claes and Jenny have out on the patio. The inside was very clean and cozy and the wood burning stove was awesome! The owners live upstairs but I never heard/saw them, however, they make it very clear in the information they email you that should you need ANYTHING during your stay don't hesitate to just let them know. It was private, quiet and beautiful. For someone who only gets one vacation a year, it was exactly what I needed and as mentioned, I will definitely be back next year!

Sleeping in a beautifully crafted treehouse, surrounded by towering evergreens and the peaceful sounds of nature, was pure magic. It's such a cool and unique experience -- cozy, serene, and unlike any traditional hotel stay. One of my favorite memories is making s'mores by the fire and enjoying them beside the running river. We loved it so much that we booked another visit -- but unfortunately, we ran into an unexpected childcare situation that meant we had to cancel. It was incredibly disappointing and honestly very inconvenient. We had been so excited to return, and having to change plans at the last minute was stressful. That's where Abbey Rodriguez truly shined. She was so gracious, kind, and understanding throughout the entire situation. Instead of making us feel like we were causing a problem, she stepped in immediately, handled everything with compassion and professionalism, and made what could have been a frustrating experience feel manageable and supported. Her warmth and willingness to help turned a difficult moment into one that actually deepened our appreciation for TreeHouse Point. Exceptional places are special -- but exceptional people make them unforgettable. Abbey's graciousness and care showed us that TreeHouse Point isn't just magical because of the treehouses and the forest (though those are amazing!) -- it's magical because of the heart behind it. We are so happy with TreeHouse Point and so grateful for the way we were treated. We absolutely plan to visit again soon -- and next time, we can't wait to be back in the trees where the magic began.

The lower lawn was perfect for an intimate ceremony, there was dancing in the barn, and a delicious breakfast in the lodge. I appreciate that there were accessible options for our friends with mobility issues. I'm someone who is NOT outdoorsy and quite afraid of bugs, and everything went ok! The treehouses are immaculately cleaned and the exterior railings and pathways are probably swept through regularly since we didn't hit any webs or see any creepy crawlies inside the cabins. Most of the treehouses have toilets and heaters. Overall, I think this is the ultimate PNW getaway. Highly recommend it!
