Where do I begin! I really wanted a taste from home since I'm from up north so naturally I was so excited to come here to try the famous Philly cheesesteak! I ordered the regular beef cheesesteak and a chicken philly as well! Let's start with the good: The wait was not long at all, and They had plenty of options for the toppings! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the items they offer on their menu! The bad: the sandwich lacked flavor, the bread was a little hard to chew like it had been microwaved! My toppings on my sandwich were just placed at the top of the sandwich so when I went in for a bite most of the toppings fell off! They also do not put mayo on the bread! I requested mayo and honey mustard on my sandwich and was given a cup of honey mustard and 2 packs of mayo for a large sub! I really wanted to love this place but it just didn't do it for me. I'm from Jersey near Philly. These are not authentic. The meat is dry, the bread is stale. It's overall just bad. No where near the real thing. The place also smells like a barn. Very odd read more

The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. Everything was great! The food was delicious and service was wonderful.

It was worth the hype. Their cheesesteaks are better than Geno's in Phillalso learned that the original cheesesteak was made with provolone and not cheese whiz. It's a great place to take family and friends the whole staff are amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is always fresh and hot. The tea is always on point . I tend to get the colossal chicken and fries. I have tried the whole menu, you can't go wrong with anything you try. Some of the best customer service I've seen in a long time, and I only ordered takeout!! The employees seemed to be happy to be there and everyone was smiling. The young man at the togo counter used my name and was very kind. I work in customer service and it's hard to get a team all on the same page with stuff management is doing a great job and hiring the right people. I came across this spot while looking for Philly Cheesesteaks so I had to try it being as I consider myself an aficionado of Real Philadelphia Cheesesteaks. Inky's was very friendly and very clean, which to me is as important as the food. Now let's talk about the cheesesteaks. They start with Amoroso Bread which is the only real bread to use for an authentic Ph Cheesesteak and then lots of meat, onions and peppers perfectly seasoned. Although I did enjoy the Philly cheesesteaks, the last ones I have gotten have been terrible and the prices are through the roof

First time eating here. Actually I had takeout on a Friday evening. Restaurant was packed, servers were very friendly and masked. Original philly was a little dry - my son wanted his without onions. My husband and I split an original and a deluxe. Deluxe is definitely worth the price which is a little high but the buns are packed with the goods! Will return again. read more

Ok. So I'm going to say this is the best cheesesteak I've had this far from Philly. The best part no green peppers cooked in like all the other imitation places around the country. Anytime I'm somewhere and they offer cheesesteaks or as they normally place on the menu "Philly Cheesesteak". So as I sat at Inky's waiting like 10 MINUTES for my meal I wondered why I hadn't complained yet....: when it occurred to me that I passed 3,000,000 drive thru fast food places and if I wanted PHILLY PERFECTION I might have to wait while they make it fresh for me!!!! After digging in to my meal I watched several employees and the Owner Stacy work their tails off to make sure customers needs were met. The food was amazing, the servers were great very attentive. The manager however, was terrible. Showing her anger towards her employees in front of guests, with us being able to hear what she's yelling, shows a lack of respect. Storming off and slamming the kitchen door when our table is 5 feet away from the table. This would have been 5 stars, but while typing this I can still hear her complaining about her employees. Also, even though it is a half bar/restaurant, her shirt said "that's what. -she" which doesn't seem appropriate for a family restaurant. read more

Each visit as good as the last. I had the BLT with the great tots. Bacon was cooked to perfection. Bread toasted just a tad so it wasn't tough. Service was on spot. It was a Saturday afternoon before a home Clemson game so it was busy with a short wait. It gave my husband a chance to talk to the brewer next door. They ran out of chicken by 3 pm on a Saturday. What poor planning especially when we were doing birthday party with people who can't eat beef. Ok perhaps I was unkind with this review, but that's what happens when 5 people coming together are disappointed. We will hope for better times soon. read more

Made a trip to Inky's for cheesesteaks cause we're from PA. My has told me no one around us makes a good cheesesteak. NOW I know what hes talking about! These were amazing! Never had a better Philly cheesesteak, even in PA! Service with smiles were beyond expectations!! Super impressed with this family and their restaurant! We'll be back!
