Upon entering for my appointment the two gals that I engaged with were very welcoming. I believe the gal that checked me in was Megan and the other gal I forget her name but she has red hair with cute bangs in a ponytail who was letting me know not to worry about the hour parking in front of the salon. My advice to those new to the salon is to get there early as parking is limited in the front and the ample parking would be across the street or in the residential area. Now let me get to my stylist who wow'ed me. This was my second time around with this stylist. Backstory I met Shawn Babauta at JCPenny as I went in to get a haircut and she mentioned she was moving to Dolce Salon which was the best decision she made as well as for Dolce Salon to add an amazing stylist to their team. Shawn is so talented and the thing I love about Shawn when I first met her was she listened to what my concerns were and what my inspiration was. Also Shawn gives good feedback on styles that compliment your face and how much work a certain style would be for example bangs. That's a plus for me because not many stylists listen or give you that type of feedback. When it comes to a long term stylist I feel that not only are their talents a plus but also vibing with them is important. Shawn I'm so happy my husband found you on social media because moving here due to a military move is always a bit rough. I work in a high traffic bank in Federal Way, and Maurice was actually recommended to me by clients of different ethnic backgrounds. One was an Asian/Islander with beautiful lightened hair that was blended perfectly and suited her beautifully, and the other was An African American girl who had the most perfect pressed hair I've ever seen! After going through some hair struggles, hitting plateaus, and overall having thick, dark hair, I thought I'd give Maurice a visit. IM GLAD I DID! Maurice, not only was able to correct the mixture of Copper Orange and mis matched colors on my hair, but he actually was able to lift my hair lighter than I expected! I have the prettiest shades of blondes right now! I haven't been able to find anyone who's been able to do magic on my hair like this since the time I lived in Korea. He was very thorough, explained all the steps he was taking; making sure that I understood the process, and and he listened to my struggles making sure that he understood where I came from.
