Then I asked to at least show me how to remove it and the lady in the front told me to leave the premises because I couldn't attempt to learn how to remove THEIR piercing in their premises. I paid $176 for 2 terribly done and low quality piercings. Do not recommend. mejuri, Gogana and any other spots are much much cleaner, more professional staff and proper. Do not go here.

I went online with a live notary paid for the form to be notarized, set my appointment up only to be told they won't accept it because the notary was in Texas. When I told her I just paid for this service she stated, well I don't know why they're not accepting it. Standing there waiting, finally I said they're not accepting it?? She said No. Once again, went to a local piercing shop Iris the same company that we went to before and was able to get our piercing done! I went in for a walk in and had some piercings in mind but wasn't 100% sure and wanted to work with a piercer for final say. The front desk lady was super nice, I was wanting a contra conch placement and asked her about it as I know Rowen only offers limited piercing options. She told me the placement I wanted could be done and would be considered a flat. I was stoked and decided jewelry and placement, and for my other ear I decided a helix, that would kinda be tucked away with a dangly chain. When it was time for my appointment my piercer was pretty hostile as I kindly explained what I was looking. She had never heard of a contra conch and she said we couldn't do the placement I wanted because it wouldn't heal, even though the contra conch is a pretty routine piercing at piercing shops. I asked her to move inwards and she got frustrated asking me again where so I responded medial but she refused to move the original placement or kindly explain why. For my helix on the other side I wasn't exactly informed that it was going to be basically a vertical helix and that's also something I would have changed because I feel like it limits a lot of jewelry options. Finally, the piercer failed to bring up downsizing until I had to ask, well after my appointment, after my friend had gotten her piercing. I understand the whole licensed nurses thing that rowan has going on but I feel like it's far safer to go to a reputable and educated piercer as they are far more knowledgeable about all piercings not only the select like 8 that rowan offers. Save your money, don't fall for the marketing and go to a reputable piercer!
