She makes you feel very comfortable during the entire microblading process, goes over every detail and really listens to what you're looking for. I was definitely nervous, since obviously this is very permanent but I shouldn't have been. When I arrived for my first appointment I showed her pictures of what I was thinking for my eyebrows and she discussed what would need to be done to reach that look. She took a great deal of time to draw on the shape and to make sure I was happy and if not made all the adjustments until they were my dream brows. After drawing the shape she advised me on which color would look the best for my natural hair color and she got to work. She started with numbing and while that was kicking in she gave me a pillow and a blanket so I could be as comfortable as possible, after the 10 minutes it took to numb, she started the process. I have gotten my eyebrows done about 6 years ago by someone in Atlanta and I will say she was much faster than the my previous experience (and I love them so much more this time). She was great at telling me what to expect to feel in the numbing process and the rest of the procedure was pain free. After she finished we looked at the brows to see if I wanted to make any changes and then went over aftercare with me, gave me printed directions, and a packet of aquaphor (loved that I didn't have to go buy a tube that I wouldn't have ended up using after the healing process!). I will say before the initial appointment I dm'd her A LOT of questions and I definitely dragged my feet on getting it done but I am so happy I chose to go to Allee. For my follow up appointment I ended up going 4 weeks later because life and my schedule is insane and when I tell you she made all the adjustments and made my brows PERFECT, I'm not exaggerating. I wanted a higher arch and more upstrokes on my brows and she knew exactly how to achieve that with still keeping them looking natural. I can't say enough amazing things about Allee, she's an incredible person, she's so sweet and really makes you feel completely comfortable. We had the most random, amazing conversation and sad I don't need to go back for a while haha I recommend her to everyone because she's that good, do yourself a favor and go see her, I promise she's worth the drive to Summerville!

I'm seeing Shannon for laser tattoo removal, and she is awesome! I first went to a local…read moredermatologist's office where the young tech swiped over my ink in about ten seconds. It was extremely painful and very expensive, and she gave me the wrong instructions for aftercare, so none of the ink faded at all! Shannon, on the other hand, is very experienced in tattoo removal and came highly recommended from a mutual friend who's had Shannon do her permanent makeup. Shannon numbed the area well with lidocaine prior to the procedure, then she meticulously went over the ink. She said she cranked up the laser to make sure the ink would dissipate, but it didn't hurt any worse than getting the tattoo in the first place. She gave me clear aftercare instructions that make sense and explained why the dermatologist's office instructions were incorrect. And she charges half the price per session! I'm upset that I wasted money and time at the dermatologist, but very grateful that I've now found Shannon. She's really a great lady with a great vibe and I'm very confident in her skills!

It was truthful but a bit unkind as I was having a bad hair day! I was truly annoyed that I was unhappy with my cut and had to go to another salon for a recut paying for 2 haircuts in one week. What I was correct about was the owner! She called me and cancelled my appointment and told me to find another salon because of my yelp review!!! A good business person would have handled it quite differently. Owners are usually friendly to all customers and she would ONLY say hello if we made eye contact which was rare. To sit in a salon for 3 hours a few feet from the owner without so much as a how are you is amazing. This one star rating reflects my experience with the salon but Jennie Lynn is a 4 or 5 star colorist.

In…read morethe examination room where I waited a brief time, I saw on the walls the photos, newspaper reports and other proof of the numerous children in other countries who previously had hemangiomas (large red, swollen places) on their faces before he operated on them FOR FREE. I asked him if he still did this, as some photos and reports were 15 years ago. With a bit of pride, he does. (Later in speaking with a lady at church who had seen him she said that he had told her that his plastic surgery practice is what he still does in order to fund his charitable work.) For me, he needed only a quick exam of the venous malformation (VM--congenital, and not cancerous or dangerous, he noted) but spent a lot of time explaining my three options including not doing anything. I will be going back to him after I make an appointment and have him do the injections. After all, that is my choice and my regular dermatologist referred me to Dr. Hochman. Thus, he came well recommended, and his knowledge and patience with this patient was very helpful and soothing.
