Please see update********…read more They say, if you walk into a salon and love the hair-do on the stylist you've found your salon. I've found my salon! I first found Tammy, my massage therapist. I searched yelp, google then Facebook (being new to the area) and Tammy's name popped up quite a bit. I called and we set the appointment. Tammy is very kind and wants you to get the most out of your treatment so she reviews your needs prior to your massage then during to ensure you're happy. I have myalgia so not all days are the same but Tammy works with me and I appreciate her very much. As I was leaving she helped me schedule my hair color appointment with Angela the following week. I brought her a photo and I absolutely love the color. She was spot on! We didn't cut yet I go Monday. I'll try to remember to do a follow up. I know I won't be dissatisfied though. The shop is in a mini strip mall but not a chain!!! The decor is so welcoming and beautiful. Beverages are available as well. (But not offered. You must ask-communication is a bit of an issue here. I checked in and sat 20 minutes because my stylist claimed she didn't see me walk in behind her) *******UPDATE******* still LOVE Tammy for massages! Still recommend her highly. It was a a very tough decision - I've moved on to another salon. My original visit was for TAMMY and she recommended upon my request a stylist. My hair is very think and coarse and I needed someone that didn't upcharge me after quoting me on 2 separate occasions. I wasn't in love with my hair as I kept telling myself it is growing out. I do love my new salon but seeking a new massage therapist. (Also, the fact that it's been at least two months and no one has called to see why I left left a bad taste as well!)

I've gotten pedicures there recently and decided to try their hair stylist. I was given a name Frankie and proceeded to schedule an appointment. Before the appointment, I showed her a photo of my desired style. She looked over it several times and guided me to shampoo station where she pushed my head and hair around way too harshly and without much care as to how it felt. When I said, "hey, slow down", she responded, "we're either a good fit, or not!" Hmm? The cut was exactly the opposite of what I had asked for, after asking to see the photo several times. Now, I will say that it was in no way the cut I requested but the worst part was after going there for a pedicure and mentioning my displeasure to my pedi person about the haircut and she agreed there was no similarity between the photo and my hair. No problem. It's not the first haircut that I got where I wasn't satisfied. And because of Frankie's (Trish?) attitude at the appointment, I didn't dare go back and complain. All that being said, I attempted to make another Pedi appointment and was told they were not accepting appointments for me. No explanation, nothing, just no appointment for me! So, hopefully, the owner,Melinda is reading this and will explain where their professionalism came from. Thanks for listening. I just received a response from Melinda on my post. None of what she said was in any way accurate. The desk person stated that all she knew was that she was not allowed to schedule me AND at the time I was getting the cut, there were a total of one other client and Liz in the entire salon when I was there and the only person who said anything negative was the stylist. I was too shocked to speak. I in no way complained about the cut to her, but it was mentioned to Liz who had referred me to the stylist, when I was there a week later.

We decided to just do a dermaplane which was basically free, lol because I'm on their VIP plan which is a decision that took me a while to make but skincare, especially after 30 years of age is a must as well as an investment. Our face and smile is the first thing people notice so it only made sense for me to join the 2nd plan. Which I absolutely LUUUUUUV! Everyone, including Bailey helps to make sure you are getting the best plan for you and your budget. Personally, I would much rather sacrifice new clothing as well as manicures and pedicures to take care of my skin. My goal is to no longer need to wear any makeup. Bailey has been right there beside me the whole way and I don't think she realizes how important it is for me to see her on a monthly basis. I always feel so much better when I leave Touch MedSpa. They have heated towels for your neck/head during your shampoo as well. I was told one week that towels would no longer be provided (with no prior notice), only to see towels available again on other days depending on which staff members were working. Most recently, I thanked a staff member and wished her a good evening while leaving. I was ignored despite being the only person in the lobby. When I repeated myself just in case she did not hear me over the music, she yelled "You're welcome" and literally stomped away. That interaction, combined with the ongoing inconsistency in policy and tone, led me to cancel my membership. Courtesy and professionalism matter.
