I DO NOT RECOMMEND I'm not from the Dallas area and came a few weekends ago for a girls trip. We were wanting to get piercings and found Inkling based on the reviews. I decided to get my septum done because my friend had hers done and I had been wanting it done for a while. I got my septum pierced here and the experience was honestly terrible. It was EXTREMELY painful and the piercer even bumped the needle multiple times and was not smooth at all. He struggled to even get me pierced all the way through. After getting pierced I tried to ask for aftercare tips and he gave me nothing, just told me not to touch it. I wasn't even asked what jewelry I wanted or anything. When we got in the car and looked at the piercing we realized it wasn't even pierced correctly. It was 100% in the wrong place and looked nothing like my friends and was a completely different experience to hers when she got hers done where we're from. I consulted a local piercing studio where I'm from and they said I was completely pierced incorrectly, in the wrong spot and I would have to immediately take it out in order for it to heal properly. It was pierced far too low. And began to ooze a yellow puss within a day. I had to take it out within two days of getting it pierced. I got in contact with the owner of Inkling who confirmed it was pierced wrong and said he could re-pierce me for free. However I am unable to make the trip back to Dallas and let him know. He told me I could not get a refund, only come back to get re pierced. It's overall just a frustrating experience because i should have never been pierced improperly in the first place. It's unprofessional to have the only person working that day do piercings that he clearly did not know how to do. It was an extremely painful experience, that I essentially got nothing out of and now cannot even receive a refund. I paid $80 plus a $20 tip. read more

The owner was not friendly at all when I started to question him about prices. I was misinformed. I called, and my sister did too and we had two different prices. So, when I asked a question about it the price, he got a nasty attitude with me and because a real jerk. I was already thinking of leaving because I was uncomfortable at this point. I was a nose piercing, which he quoted for $60. My sister wanted her second and third set done in her ear lobes (4 piercings) total which he to be $180! I thought this price was excessive and my sister did too. One time over the phone he said he would discount it to to $30 and then standing in person it was $45. So, I feel like he was just making up prices or maybe he was gonna discount us and then took it back. Either way, we felt uncomfortable from that point further and decided to leave. This place isn't the most ideal place I had in mind when I see in his website that he's rated #1 in Dallas. This place was dead af and not a single person there especially for a Saturday! This place was dark on the inside, has a very weird smell and weird vibe to it and just doesn't scream number 1 to me when I walked through the door. It was too many red flags for me and we left. We did find another place within minutes and got what we wanted under $100! read more

I went here for their Friday the 13th specials; they had a huge selection to pick from and the front desk lady was extremely nice and helpful. I called the studio and didn't get an answer, so they texted me and sent me videos of their entire selection to choose from for Friday the 13th. Everyone here was easy to talk to and you could tell they cared about their clients and tattoos. My tattoo artist was very nice and quick. I couldn't recommend this place more. read more

Chris has been working on a Disney inspired half sleeve since July 2016. Each time I walk out of a session I am more and more impressed with his artistic abilities!! He is truly a master tattoo artist and I will trust no one else with ink that I get. I get stopped a lot by people who want to admire the work he's done, and of course am always asked where I got it done. I have to keep several of his cards on me for that very reason. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was with this shop! Both my daughter and I wanted realistic flower work done in memorial to my mom, her grandmother...so making sure we got the right artist was paramount. I could NOT have chosen a better artist than Brandon Stringer. His work is BEYOND AMAZING. The level of detail, time, patience, care, etc that he puts into his work astounded me. I also love the fact that we shared an idea with him...and he was very honest about whether or not he thought it would yield the result we were looking for and offered other suggestions that we both loved. This was the first tatoo for both my daughter and I. I'm 46...and have been wanting one for at least 20 years but was very skeptical about putting anything permanent on my body because I wasn't sure I could trust anyone enough to make me love what I chose.
