Came here first about 4 years ago to get my double helix pierced by Tess. She came highly recommended by a friend! Tess was patient as I was deciding on placement and made sure that I was 100% sure before proceeding. Everything was sanitized properly and I had no issues. I returned a year ago to get my tragus pierced and had the same great experience. Recently, I lost my tragus earring so I went to the shop and she was able to take me right away. Amazing and fast with piercings!! Went into get my nose pierced and was welcomed right away. Someone was ahead of me getting a piercing already and I only waited about 5-10min still. When they were ready they called me back and explained a little about what's going to happen. The 2 woman were amazing funny and sweet. Made me feel very comfortable. He introduced to me one of the artists Big Ceeze who was not only easy on the eyes...he was honest and helpful on helping me create the image I wanted in memory of my dad. I was very nervous and anxious to say the least. But the friendly atomosphere and laid back setting was reassuring. The shop was clean and the location was really easy to find. Did a walk in to get my helix done, as well as re-pierce one of my ears that had closed up. The prices are reasonable and affordable, and the included jewelry is really nice and sparkly. Other places I've gone to only have very simple studs for no additional cost. Tess was super nice and very patient. She offered me water afterwards and let me take my time to recover after the piercing. I ended up leaving with both my nipples re-pierced again as well. It was a good experience!!! read more

This review is long overdue but I came here last November to get my Tragus pierced and Tess did a great job on it. Unfortunately, my ears can be super sensitive with piercings. Just recently my Tragus piercing has ran into a few issues but Tess has offered me many different options to help my Tragus piercing heal. I came in today for more advice on my piercing and Tess was once again super helpful! Not only did she help me out with my Tragus piercing issue but she pierced my lobes as well. She is very attentive when piercing and made sure I was comfortable the whole time! Her and the staff were incredibly friendly and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. Today I received my first tattoo and also treated my mom to one and let me tell you our experience was PHENOMENAL!!! The shop was so clean the staff were all so nice and knowledgeable. Being that it was Friday the 13th the designs provided were all sooooo good!! I expected the shop to be extremely hectic, but it was the complete opposite we each got tattooed/pierced in a reasonable orderly fashion. I was tattooed by Charles and he made me feel so at ease with my experience. He made jokes and was consistent with keeping a conversation going in effort to distract me from the tattooing process. My mom received her tattoo from James and she had nothing but good things to say about him. He was very attentive and showed so much enthusiasm about tattooing. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see how my piercing was doing after a week. Okay so I decided to get nipple piercings. Now, see I wasn't nervous because it was my first time getting them, I was nervous because it was gonna be my 2nd time getting them after taking them off and not having them on for about 3 years. So many people scared me and told me that it's gonna hurt 10 times worse than the first time due to scar tissue so, because of that I was terrified. As I was in the room I told Tess how scared and nervous I am because of what people told me and she was so nice and super cool and assured me that it wasn't that bad and that she was gonna take care of me. AND SURE ENOUGH she was right!!! She did so AMAZING! It honestly didn't even hurt like I expected! Now that I think about it, I think it hurt more the first time lol! Yess is so amazing at what she does! The first 2-3 days were the hardest because I was sore but that's like ANY PIERCING. Nothing abnormal, everything was how I expected it to be, a little soreness and a little bleeding here and there but no biggie because I'm consistent with cleaning them. With that said, I highly recommend going to Tess for any piercings! For those who were wondering the price, it's $80 for both nipped to be pierced. read more

I got my nostril pierced here about three weeks ago and it was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made! I'm so happy with how it looks! I've had no problems with it so far. I bought the saline spray for $5 and it lasted me the three weeks! Super convenient. I went with a friend and got mine done first and it was super fast and didn't even hurt as bad as I thought! It was a little pinch and they explain everything they're doing as they do it. A huge reason I loved this place was because after my friend got her nose done, I passed out! I was feeling really sick and then I blacked out and woke up in two people's arms (Tess and I don't remember the other piercers name but she had purple hair!). I was embarrassed but they were so sweet to me and didn't let go of me until I was able to move by myself. They let me sit down for a long time and brought me a soda, fanned me with a book, and put wet napkins on my face to cool me off. They also reassured me that this does happen to some people and they're prepared for it to happen. They took good care of me for a good hour AFTER I got my piercing done too which meant so much to me. They also let me sit in the lobby once I was more awake until I felt like I was ready to drive my car. I don't plan on getting more piercings after what happened but I want everyone to go here if they ever want to get anything pierced! read more

I had my nose pierced for 7 months but within 5 hours of taking out my nose ring, it was already closed!!!!! :-( So I went to Ink'd to get it re-pierced. Tess had a ridiculous amount of great reviews and once I met her, it was obvious why. She's super clean and it's so clear that she loves her job!! She pierced my nose quickly and painlessly, as well as two of my roommates' bellies. We were in and out in 30 minutes! The reason why I felt compelled to write this review though was because of what happened after. My small stud started sinking into my nose b/c it swelled up so much and when I called Tess to ask her what I should do about it, she insisted I come back in so she can replace my stud with a bigger stud... I got my tragus pierced at the end of August. It's December now, and it hasn't healed. My piercing has been cleaned daily, however it's remained swollen and infected since. I went to another piercing shop to change the piercing they pierced it with, and the piercer there said the jewelry was a KNOCKOFF of what is normally sold. Once the earring was changed to a normal stud, we saw that the earring the Ink'd Chronicles gave me was RUSTED and had puss residue from my ear on it. I would not recommend buying their jewelry or getting piercings there. read more

Okay let me start by saying I had originally planned to get my first tattoo here. This tattoo meant a lot to me. I had emailed the owner, terry, two weeks in advance to discuss prices and the day before I was planning to get my tattoo. Terry was fabulous, he was nice direct, he offered me a reasonable price for what I wanted, and everything seemed fabulous. This place is located in downtown Pomona which is walking distance from where I now live. It was perfect. now let me go to why I gave them two stars. I got to the tattoo place at around 1 and no one was there except a guy with a hat and a beard who I thought was the receptionist. I told him I was there for a tattoo and explained to him that I had emailed in advance. its walk in so there isn't actually appointments. He looked at me like he didn't know what I was talking about and started asking me who it was I was talking to. he couldn't remember terry's name so I said it started with a T but he had no idea who I was talking about. he told me to wait rudely and began to talk to some guy's who came in. he was a straight up douchebag, didn't give me a time, didn't have any idea who terry was, the shop owner, and just acted like a straight up asshole.so I left, which didn't seem to bother him much. I didn't get my tattoo here, I ended up going home in la Habra and driving to ink in the skin in downtown Fullerton where they were very friendly and honest. I gave them a bad review for how unfriendly the guy was but terry was fantastic, I told him what happened he apologized so I gave them the extra star. the place overall is clean, decent, I heard from a lot of my friends who get tattoos here that there work is good, but for a fist timer looking to get tatted for the first time not going to be the best experience. they starts at 60$ for a normal tattoo. read more
