Came in for two ear piercings and was disappointed with the experience. The shop itself looked great, but the piercing process felt unprofessional. My left ear was pierced without any issues. However, when it came to my right ear, the piercer asked me to lean across toward her instead of moving to my right side or repositioning me. As soon as the piercing was done, I could tell something wasn't right. It went in at an angle and became painful almost immediately after I left. My left piercing is healing fine, but I'm concerned about the right one because it seems slanted and may take much longer to heal. This felt like a preventable issue, as simply repositioning me or moving to the other side could have made a difference. Very disappointing overall. read more

Wow my daughter (7) has been begging me to get her ears pierced. I wanted to wait till she was at least 10 as I know how much it can hurt. She asked Santa for it and I agreed. Really unprofessional. I went for the first time to get my jewelry removed and the piercer seemed really nice but then I tried to take my sister three different times to get her ears pierced. The first time, I messaged the piercer personally to let her know I'd be in at 5pm, to which she responded that she'll be taking walk-in's til 5:30. I get to the shop 5 minutes late and the tattoo artist tells me she left. The third time I came for a Valentine's Day special where they said they'd take walk ins until 6. I showed around 4, and they said they "closed the waiting list" even though there was no option to sign up online nor any warning of unavailability on social media. Completely unapologetic. Welp. It was up to me to get the kiddo's ears pierced AGAIN. But hopefully the third time is a charm. Instead of taking her to the mall or whatever, I wanted it done right. I contacted the owner Tess via IG and assured me Brittany would be happy to help. Located in downtown Pomona, it's near the Glass House so if you need your ticket or record fix there you go. As promised, Brittany was there and ready to go. Brittany was so caring and professional with great attention to detail. The post care briefing had me thinking I was into a doctors office. No detail was left out. It's been a few weeks and I'm positive the kiddo isn't losing her earrings this time. Great healing, no swelling or infections. If she wants another piercing I found the place for her to go. I'm retired from the tattoo game (not much room left) but I'd consider Ink'd Chronicles if I was in the market! James is super professional. He's friendly, responsive, punctual, and did an amazing job giving me a cute little traditional scorpion with hearts. I had been spending the last few months looking for the right shop for specific pieces I wanted done. I found this shop randomly on yelp and got a good vibe so I decided to go in and check it out. Brittany and Chandler were in that day. They were super friendly and gave the best service. I got to chat with Chandler about a piece I wanted and he was super down to get it going. I sent him some references and he gave me some suggestions. He thought about placement, size, and took into consideration that I wanted more pieces done in the future so he really considered the flow of the piece too. Fast forward to the appointment, I was extra particular with how I wanted the placement and he was very accommodating. Once I was 100% on the placement, he got started. I was in and out of his chair within 3 hours and completely satisfied with the work he did. He also mentioned that if I wanted to get it touched up that I could come back free of charge. He went lighter on the shading, but I'm so glad he did. After that, I set another appointment to get my wrist done. I just had that appointment today and I'm so happy with how both pieces have turned out. I set ANOTHER appointment Saturday and will be sending all of my friends to sit with Chandler. After researching and calling around so many piercing shops, I'm glad I decided on Ink'd Chronicles. Aside from getting my earlobes pierced when I was a child, I've never gotten any other part of my body pierced - which is why my decision to get a navel piercing was HUGE for me. Browsing through Yelp, I found many 4-5 star businesses that I was initially interested in. However, some had rude/unprofessional responses from business owners to reviewers which I was immediately turned off by while others never responded to my inquiries (by email, instagram or calls) - yikes. This has not been the case with Ink'd. Tess (piercer) has been super responsive and helpful since day 1. From when I first reached out to her on IG to the day of my piercing, everything flowed effortlessly. Now for the piercing details: I got my navel piercing done for $60 with the cost of jewelry included (which is pretty standard). There were 3 crystal colors to choose from - clear, blue, and pink. After filling out some paperwork from your phone, they'll take you to the back and make a mark on your belly button where you want it pierced. After that, all that's left is the piercing itself! He was super responsive on his instagram and we got an appointment locked down easily: I made a deposit for the time slot that went towards the total cost of the tattoo. My dad is a former Marine, very clean cut, and was excited but a bit apprehensive (understandably so). But James was very pleasant, professional, walked my dad through the whole process and did an excellent and thorough job in explaining aftercare and tattoo maintenance. It was quite easy. Kids were getting their earlobe pair, wife for her earlobe double, and a rook for me. It was a first time for kids and I to get a piercing and first time for us all at a tattoo shop. It was a great, positive experience for all of us. After 4 months, I decided I wanted to change the stud into a hoop. Process was super easy and pain free, but ended up getting infected and had an infection for the past 6 months; Keloid was residing here and there but wasn't completely gone. had to finally take my snug piercing out after two months of fighting to heal it with proper, shop recommended aftercare. originally pierced with wrong length bar, went longer, then got a piercing bump because of how much it got caught secondly: received a small tattoo from here and it turned out pretty good, but the artist waited about 20 mins for the stencil to dry and the whole time I was waiting, I could smell weed and hear my artists voice. I had already seen weed on one of the shelves, but thought maybe it would have been saved for after. Not going to put him on blast but he very obviously came back high and then proceeded to do my tattoo. I totally understand artists can tattoo high but this was pretty unprofessional and could have been taken way worse had it not been me as the client. I think it's a bit off to have so many signs saying no smoking, or "we don't deal with high clients" but be ok with an artist smoking weed minutes before a tattoo just a step away from the shop in the back alley. edit: can happen at any shop just annoying on losing out on a piercing+ having to go back read more

I first contacted Tess on Instagram and she wasn't going to be working on the day I was planning on coming in so she directed me to Brittany. Both replied promptly to my messages and were friendly and helpful. Appointments or walk ins are accepted. First timers will have their ID scanned and fill out a covid release form. Brittany was kind and professional throughout my visit, answering my questions and walking me through the procedure. She marked the position on my ears and had me confirm with a mirror before piercing. I already have piercings on each ear so she helped me make sure they looked even, even redoing the mark a few times to make sure I was completely satisfied. I don't have any scabbing, normal peeling, yes but I have yet to scab. He's kind and his attention to detail is on point. I know he is not of an American traditional artist, but I've been getting black and gray work from him and it's legit. I love the vibe in the shop. Everyone there hypes each other up on their work. This review is for the shop owner Tess, and her piercing apprentice Brittany. I got a piercing from Brittany, she did such a great job on my septum. Took her time explaining the process of the piercing itself, healing time, and how she does the piercings. I for one have gotten 8 piercings total in my lifetime and I very much appreciated how thoroughly she explained everything and made sure I was comfortable. The process of the septum, she took her time made sure it was straight and Tess the owner was there to make sure everything went smoothly and it did. It was all over in about 6 minutes, and other than the inevitable tears it only hurt a bit. They do sell the cleaning solution for $5 a bottle, I ended up purchasing 2 because you want to make sure you have too much rather that too little. The shop itself is spotless! Very clean and I would totally get a tattoo here, actually it's going to be my new go-to place for piercings! Can't wait for this to heal and be back for my snake bites! My experience at other tattoo shops left me literally afraid to get tattooed and be stuck with a turd tattoo. Several of my friends have gotten tattooed by James so I felt confident asking him to tattoo me. I have now received several tattoos from James and have loved each one. James is professional, polite and great at what he does. I went in earlier this week and met with the piercer Tess to see about a piercing I have been refused in the past due to the structure of my nose. She agreed that the piercing wasn't a good idea. I appreciated that she was honest and did not take on a "if they can't do, I can" attitude. I think it says something about an establishment when they refuse a service to keep your safety in mind.
