Artist said he will hand draw the flowers, I'm used to artists printing out sketches & giving me visual & precise options. What ticked me off the most was when I asked to add or change anything, he gave a sigh, a sigh that made me think it was such an inconvenience for me to say my opinions on the piece he is tattooing on on me & as a paying customer, I felt like an inconvenience. I'm traumatized & just wanted to leave the shop right away given the situation. I would not recommend this artists "of 30 years experience" to anyone. Nope.

I had to interview with him before we would accept me, and we "talked story" for a long time discussing my family history and my history, and what I was looking for, and my respect for Hawaii, its people, and its culture and history. The top piece is a chief's collar and there is symbology for mountains representing soldiers, fishnet for the ocean and the star on my upper arm representing my love for astronomy and the polynesian voyaging tradition, and the star is actually the design for an ancient Hawaiian kite! So happy with the result. Coolest of all we never drew a design; Jordan just goes!

I had to stop getting tattooed here because he started acting strange. He told me the last time I got a tattoo from him after the session that I should have some respect for his wife when she comes into the shop. She had came in earlier on in the session but I didn't think anything of it. I accidentally butt dialed him one night I was out at like 1am and that same time after the session he told me not to call him late like that. I was like wtf because I looked at my call log it was definitely a butt dial it was like 10 seconds long. After that I thought that was so strange and never ended up coming to his shop again. Then couple years later I saw that he had an Instagram and someone asked me where I had got a couple of my tattoos from so I was gonna tag him only to find out he had blocked me. Wtf? I am not a groupie by far and I had gotten about six tattoos from him previously even before he had this shop when he was tattooing out of Sudden Rush. Anyways this shop is located in Waipahu on the second level. I haven't been there in years like I said and the last time I was there he had just opened it. They've been in business for a while now. His work is pretty good, but just thought I'd share my weird ass encounter.

They're always playing some bangers on the radio, so everyone can settle in and relax off the bat, and they all offer a varying skillset and personality. Have you ever just needed a tattoo?…read more Well, today was my day. I needed a tattoo. My wife and I went to another shop a few months ago but that shop was closed today. I jumped on yelp and put my feelers out and yelp actually sent messages to several shops for me. Aloha Tattoo responded within just a couple minutes. I walked in and Josh knew who I was because the owner called him and prepped him for what I wanted. Josh quickly got to work on my design. We discussed some color and we were off to the races. Josh was quick, efficient, and his line work is great. If you're visiting the island, Aloha Tattoo isn't in the tourist area but if you're military or live near Schofield then they are in your back yard. I'll be back! Mahalo!!

I have to start out by saying, if I could rate this man, his art, and his AURA a million out of a million, you better believe I would.
