We decided to try Biscuit Co., in Ramsuer, NC. It was my first time, though my husband ate there once many, many years ago. It was BY FAR THE BEST biscuit I've ever eaten at a restaurant. I got the steak, egg, and cheese; while my husband got a sausage biscuit and also a fried bologna biscuit. We both got hashbrowns; he got an orange juice and I got a black coffee. It took a bit to get the food because they made it all fresh. I'd gladly wait for food that tastes that good. The steak was tender. Seriously, you didn't need teeth to chew it. It was well seasoned also. Nothing like the greasy, styrofoam I've received the past several times I've gone to Biscuitville. In fact, Biscuitville steak had gotten so bad, I just stopped ordering it all together. But this place?? Man.... It was so good!!! The egg was fluffy, and the cheese actually tasted like cheese. The biscuit its self was buttery, flaky, moist, yet stayed perfectly together with every bite. My husband loved the sausage, and said it tasted like sausage was supposed to taste versus what other places are using these days. He also enjoyed the bologna biscuit as well as it had two pieces of bologna. The coffee was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and actually checked the bag to make sure our order was correct and all there, before handing it to us and that's something you don't see at most places. It was very much appreciated!!! We went through the drive-thru so I can't speak on the ambiance or interior. It's obvious from the outside that it's an old restaurant but it had a 95.5 sanitation grade, so I'm assuming it was clean. Negatives: the sausage patty was very good, but it was way too small for the size of the biscuits, which are MASSIVE!!! The pictures don't do the size of these biscuits justice. Hashbrowns were actually tater tots but they were perfectly cooked and tasted good. We will definitely make this place a habitual stop when we're traveling through the area.

The melted cheese was dripping over the sides, the bun was soft and fresh, and every bite just kept getting better. The fries deserved their own round of applause. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and so addictive I kept telling myself, "Just one more"... about 30 fries ago. I don't know what kind of magic they're working back there, but they absolutely nailed it. This wasn't one of those burgers you eat because you're hungry--this was the kind you eat in complete silence because you're too busy enjoying every bite. On top of the amazing food, the service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. They also have covered outdoor picnic tables with fans running overhead, which was a really nice touch. It made sitting outside comfortable even on a warm day and gave the place a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. Safe to say this place has officially ruined mediocre burgers for me. I'll definitely be back... and next time I might need two orders of fries because sharing isn't going to happen.

BE CAUTIOUS OF THE "WORK BOOT CLEANER" just floating around on the walkway to the right of the door. My 79 year old MARINE VETERAN mother tripped over it and bumped into their big glass front window . She's tuff and we had a lil scare then a good laugh . Nick, not a smart spot, you have a lot of elders that visit your restaurant. You should probably move it to another spot. We'll be back

Even when it's crowded it doesn't feel cramped. The staff is also super friendly and efficient. As far as the menu goes, I love having options that other fast food restaurants don't have. They have the good ranch which is unheard of for a fast food chain and the jalapeno ranch is on another level. My go to when visiting is always a burger add cheese, hot dogs, and chicken tenders. I love that they have sweet potato fries as a side item which I also always get. This order has never let me down. I always highly recommend dairio for anyone looking for a yummy fast option!

They are again offering a seasonal item, Chili Bean Soup - 12 ounces for $5.99, and includes sour cream and crackers! I added shredded cheese which was 50 cents additional. The chili has ground beef, black beans, pinto beans, chopped white onion, chili powder, other spices, and a touch of garlic. The chili is thick, and very flavorful , much more a stew than a soup, and I'll most certainly have it often as the temperatures turn colder. The shredded cheese added a lot to this dish, I'll double it on my next order, and ask for double the 4 saltines I received. The Chili Bean Soup, while flavorful, is mild. I added the contents of a packet of Texas Pete at various times as I ate. Between this soup and the Brunswick Stew at Honky Tonk, this is setting up to be a toasty fall and winter!
