I have had nothing short of a great experience at Inglewood PT. I threw my back out and they got me in the next morning! Dr. Wong had me feeling much better by the time I left his office and feeling 100% better within 2-3 days after my visit. But the real MVP there is Melissa, she has been fantastic in communicating with me through-out the entire process. I have some hairy insurance (double covered, primary requires a referral- which I forgot to mention to her). She has been prompt with billing them and letting me know what is and is not covered. I previously saw Vicky Donnel for a shoulder problem exacerbated by working ridiculously long hours at a computer. She always did a great job explaining the mechanics behind what was wrong with my body and what exercises she was recommending and what therapies she was using to start fixing the problem. Fast forward to 2012 and my new job has me crouching down on the ground a lot, combined with my 13 years of working mainly in retail on my feet means I can't even sit down even to write Yelp reviews! I've had PT sessions for my back issues in the past and they give me the standard core strengthening exercises and poke around at my hip but this time I feel like we are actually getting to the root of the problem. My pilates instructor sister in law had in the past pointed out how my pelvis was out of line but none of the past PTs had mentioned this. With Vicky I'm working to get that back in line and working on strengthening the correct abdominal muscles instead of just generic exercises. It hasn't been that long in my treatment this time around but I'm already seeing some light at the end of the tunnel and I've always enjoyed my time (well until the next day when I'm sore and cursing PT) at this location so I wanted to let people know. Once I'm able to work on my laptop without propping my legs up with various pillows and wedges I'll be sure to update my review. :) read more

I have worked in the PT/massage therapy field for nearly 4 decades. Years ago in 2 separate instances where my sports car was hit by large vehicles and I had injuries to my neck and back. Chris Wong and all the PTs are Inglewood PT are wonderful. My wife was the first person in our family to find them. After years of other PTs massaging the pain in her sciatic, Chris figured out that it was an issue with her hips (my laymans understanding of the issue) that he worked on and she has been pain free since. I saw him for excruciating pain in my shoulders that my MD couldn't figure out, and the tracked down to pinched nerve, and after a cortisone shot and training to manage the pinch, I have been pain free since. I have recommended them to my mom, my friends, and would highly recommend IPT to everybody! read more

A few years ago, my mother's spine doctor sent her to Christopher for chronic back and neck pain. We were skeptical because she's seen so many physical therapists over the years and they had failed to help her. We in fact told him we weren't going to any more physical therapists. But her spine doctor was very insistent that she see Chris as he could often help with difficult cases. And help he did, most notably and gratefully in ridding her of chronic severe headaches. She had these sometimes 3 or 4 times a week each lasting a day or two. And she had these headaches for over 30 years. It was very early on in our visits that her headaches disappeared. It was like a miracle. Poof, gone. I sat in on all the treatments and watched as Chris worked on her. It was very interesting to watch him as he closed his eyes tight and used his strong fingers to feel and work on small areas. Very different from other therapists she has seen. I really like and respect Christopher. I believe he has a genuine talent for healing. read more

Parking/Location: Across from Bastyr, easy parking in the "strip mall" Ambiance/front staff: So, they probably haven't redecorated in a while, but the equipment is all pretty new which is great because you're paying for what will really help you. Front staff - there's been a different receptionist each time I've gone. My hubby also comes here and we have a running joke about it. Service: I've had some problems with my shoulder and lower back for years now and my hubby convinced me to go to a doctor. My doctor recommended 2 places: Chris and Quality Care. My hubby happens to go to Chris too and he's always raving about him so Chris was my first choice but he was completely booked up so I decided to give the other place a try. Long story short I went to QC for about 5 sessions - but instead of getting better it got worse. There were some cancellations with Chris so I jumped on them. The first time I went in Chris spend an hour diagnosing the problem areas and then spending tons of time doing actual PT! He helped to stretch the muscles in my shoulders and back - felt kind of like a massage but not quite. I really felt like he took the time to figure out what was really the problem (unlike the other place) and listened carefully to everything I had to say. After seeing Chris I realize QC misdiagnosed the problem and that's why I came out of there hurting more. Anyway, with Chris I went out of there a little achy but I could tell it was a good kind of ache because my shoulder was a lot more loose and I could reach my arm further than I could before. The second session he spent explaining different exercises I could do at home. He would do the exercises himself, thinking about how to refine them to fit my individual needs - no cookie cutter exercises here! He really wanted to focus on simple exercises that I could realistically do at him. So, I only went one other time because of insurance issues, and he did more manual stretching. Recommendation: Going to the right PT really does make a difference - they are not all created equal!!! After 3 sessions with Chris I feel better than I ever thought I could! Don't think about going anywhere else - get on the cancellation list right now! read more

I have been treated by Chris Wong on several occasions over a period of three months for help with a back injury. He came highly recommended by two friends who were treated by him. Without exception I have found Mr. Wong (and his staff) to be very attentive, professional, good-natured and businesslike. The treatment was apparently appropriate for my issues since I am recovering on schedule. Chris Wong is a wizard at his job. He has helped both me and my husband recover from surgery and injury. In one case, my husband had spent a year trying to find treatment for a constant pain in his knee. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong. Another physical therapist gave up on trying to find a solution. The last doctor recommended consulting Chris. Chris diagnosed the problem and treated it. My husband's knee is fine now. Chris is knowledgeable and methodical and thorough. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more

I was very impressed with Vicky and Inglewood Physical Therapy. She used a multi faceted treatment plan that was effective. I had a variety of exercises and pointers for home that she helped me incorporate into my life easily. The time was taken to get to know what works for me. I especially appreciated her friendly positive nature. She has a skillful healing touch that helped immediately with pain in shoulder and neck. She shares a lot of her knowledge about physiology so I could understand the issue. She is often fully booked so the receptionists will help you book several appointments usually two weeks out after initial consult. Once I began treatment I had no problems getting appointments. I had a series of terrible treatment sessions with Christopher Wong from August to early September 2010. He was highly recommended by my personal trainer. It turned out he is a dud. Here is the story. I hurt my shoulder doing yard work and after many months of pain I wanted to feel normal again. I had a total of ten treatment sessions with Chris Wong. 80% of the time, he gave 15-20 minutes treatment instead of 45 minutes he promised on the contract I signed at the time of my treatment. I never arrived late but I had to wait 3-4 times for my turn and the session would never be 45 minutes because Chris has next patient waiting in the lobby. Basically, I am his filler. As long as he has a patient after me, he would finish early getting a quick bite or being on time for his next patient. I resent this sort of unprofessionalism. I had complained to his receptionist at least 2 times and she recommended me to talk to Chris. I was intimated by the Therapist because he had yelled at him 2 times already. Here is what happened. After 3 treatments, I asked Chris if surgery would help me heal more quickly. He stopped his manipulation on my upper arm and stood right in front of me and said he would stop my treatment immediately. I can't recall verbatim what he said but basically he thought I had insulted him. He believed he can treat me without invasive surgery. His treatment is superior to surgery. I guess my going to see a surgeon hurt his pride. I immediately told him I was just talking out loud and wanted to be healed sooner, that's all. He used ultra sound on my shoulder at least 3 times and each time he applied at least 10-15 minutes on me. This application has injured my shoulder muscle so deeply that I have lost my strength to do simple pushups and other poses at my yoga classes. I feel very resentful. I believe this therapist has a very poor understanding of ultra sound treatment. Many times, when I was chatting with his receptionist while waiting (he was late as usual), Chris would order me to go to my room, NOW. This is really true. The receptionist is my witness. The receptionist explained to me Chris was under a lot of stress because some expensive software he purchased was not functioning properly. For some good reason (not to mention here), the receptionist and I like each other and we chatted enthusiastically each time we met. I guess Chris Wong, the owner/operator did not like to see the receptionist slacking off. For dog's sake, I was just chatting with her no more than 5 minutes, longer if the Therapist is late treating me. Anyway, the area where the pain had been was long gone. But the area where the ultra sound was applied on me left me with great pain, especially getting up in the morning. I know I will take another 6 months to heal. But please don't see this Therapist. He is arrogant, treats his employee poorly, and has bad table manners, bad temper, nosy, owns old and broken and outdated bed cover and furniture.... On top of that, wait till you see his mother in the dispensary room, she has a sour face. Don't expect she says hi or smile when she happens to see you. read more

I went to see a Physiatrist in Seattle (a physician who specializes in reviewing your condition and giving recommendations to restore your function and returning you to a high quality of life) for a very bad back for over 15 years After reviewing my condition he recommended I see one of two PT specialists that he trusts and has worked with since the 90's. One was in Tacoma and the other was Christoper Wong in Kirkland. I already had an emergency back surgery with bad results and an epidural injection that damaged a nerve. I had been to many, many, many PT places with no solution. It was a waste of my time and money. I initially made 3 of the 16 appointments the Physiatrist recommended with Christoper Wong because I had no faith. I was AMAZED. I never knew my back could feel so good, never dreamed it was possible. My quality of life is beyond WONDERFUL! This was about four years ago and I still am amazed daily. Since my appointments with him we have referred many people needing PT for various issues. SOOOOOO many of them are beyond grateful for what he has done for them. The few he could not help he is quick to refer on as to not waste their time or money. If I could give him 10 stars I would. You won't be sorry! read more
