Table with a white and red wine tasting.

First visit to Ingleside. The courtyard is very nice and relaxing- a canopy of trees keeps it shady. Wines are pretty true to their names. Mostly dry reds. Whites are great (I prefer whites, but appreciate the reds). Not many Virginia wineries offer Albariño, but I recommend trying it at Ingleside. A little off the beaten path, but worth a try.

Beautiful property, particularly the tasting area. Wine is different for everyone's palate, so some may find their wines amazing. They certainly have a broad selection of reds & whites. Being accustomed to west coast Sonoma & Napa wines, the variations here didn't measure up to expectations. Again, wine is very much an individual experience. This is a great tasting opportunity & enjoyable space. Check'em out.

A beautiful setting!! Easy parking on a weekday for our camper. Two separate setting areas outside and a large inside area. Very peaceful feeling. We had the Pinot Grigio, Rose and the Chardonnay. They were all very good. The wine club looks great. The staff were great.

Loved everything about this winery! We went inside to order our flight (and use our Reserve Pass) and take outside to the cutest courtyard (they have two). Beautiful day with plenty of shade to shield from the sun. We really liked all the wines and bought two bottles to take home. There was a food truck there, so that was great too. We cannot wait to return and bring our family.

The vineyard courtyard space is inviting to take your time with your wine. The wine tasting attendant was as sweet as she could be. My wine palette could not find agreeable wine but with her persistence the winner in taste was found. The field of wild flowers at the entrance is like from a Monet painting and it is sight that stays with you forever.

It was nice I thought samples were small for $12 and they had no food truck or music luckily I brought our own food! And water! I wouldn't go back without music or foo truck and I definitely wouldn't do the samples! In my opinion samples should be free if gonna be that small and they should clean table off outside before they open and put up umbrellas we had to clean our chairs off and I had a table cloth but all in all we had fun not sure I would rush back we bought glasses of wine after that cheesy samples glasses were $7 each the staff was friendly inside selling the wine but never saw any staff outside cleaning we sat in area that was smoking we don't smoke but we liked the chairs better and it was sunny bathroom from very clean so that was a plus! I left off a star for prices and no music they had a radio playing but then they turned that off! It was time to go!

Great winery! Grounds are amazing, friendly service, good wine, and there's a secret garden feel. Must stop on the wine trail!

What a lovely winery! Beautiful scenery, gorgeous outdoor seating area, rooms for events, nice tours and rustic, old world decor. The wines are good and reasonably priced. The tasting is informative and you'll get a generous pour. The gift shop is a bit pricey but cute finds. The music scene is cool too, I've been to several shows here and always have a good time! The restrooms are awkwardly located in an event room, across from the patio and outside of the tasting room. We had to walk into a party that was being held there and we felt like wedding crashers... but it couldn't be helped, it was a wine pressing issue!

Stop by on the way from South Carolina to New York, the vineyard has a backyard with outdoor seating under the shades . We have the flight of $10 with 5 samples (its modified based on your interest - dry or sweet ). We also had cheese, crackers and salami for $20 to pair with the drink. 2 flights for 2 ppl and snacks -= $40ish. They also give us 2 complimentary wine glasses with its logo to bring home. The wine tastes very good. Especially the blue crab. Highly recommended! Sorry no pic of the drink, we were too eager

    Wine slushy

After having a vacation home in the Northern Neck for over a year, I finally made it to Ingleside Vineyards for the first time. What a gem! The courtyard is adorable and shady - perfect on a hot summer day when it's too hot to be on my own back patio. We had wine slushies. They were delicious and refreshing. I definitely plan to return with my husband.

The atmosphere is the nest thing going for this cute, out of the way winery. You'll enjoy the cozy courtyard with some good wine and food.

There's 3 gates - the first one is general admission and the second one is 21+ only. If you're going with a group, make sure to tell them which lot you're parking in and where to find you since it's very easy to get lost. There's sooo much seating and it looked like you can make reservations for groups, so the ambiance is great for big parties or to celebrate an occasion (like a birthday or bachelorette). You can either be indoors or outdoors, but this place is very conducive to any type of group energy. Also, there's so much scenery and seating, it's soooo beautiful - great for pictures. To order food, you place an order outside at the barn and get a pager. It'll buzz and let you know when your food is ready for pickup. You can also order wine downstairs by the bottle and get as many glasses as you'd like for sharing. There's also a small gift shop as well. The food was expensive, but good quality overall. The chicken strips and fries with a peach tea was $20, but the vibe was worth it so I didn't really mind. I'd definitely come here to celebrate something with a group!

First, a shoutout to our wine server, Hannah, who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the wines without ever making us feel like we needed a sommelier certification to enjoy them. She guided us through the $20 tasting, which included a wonderful mix of whites and reds. It worked out perfectly because I'm a white wine fan while my husband prefers reds, so naturally we shared every pour and declared ourselves a two-person tasting committee. Now let's talk about the food. The truffle popcorn should probably come with a warning label because it is highly addictive. We kept saying "just one more handful" until the bowl mysteriously emptied itself. The fresh baguette with pimento dip was equally delicious and paired beautifully with the wines. The winery offers plenty of seating options, whether you prefer lounging on the grass, relaxing indoors, or enjoying the covered patio. We chose the covered patio, which provided the perfect balance of fresh air, vineyard views, and shade. And yes, I'm actually going to mention the bathrooms. They were some of the nicest winery restrooms I've encountered--modern, spotless, stylish, and clearly well-maintained. It's one of those little details that says a lot about the overall experience. Great wine, delicious food, beautiful setting, immaculate facilities, and outstanding service from Hannah. Greenhill Vineyards has earned every one of these five stars. We'll definitely be back for another "research trip" in the near future.

The wine selection is solid, and everything we tried was smooth, well-balanced, and easy to enjoy with friends. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax, take your time, and be present. What I love most about Greenhill is the vibe--it feels elevated without being pretentious. Just good wine, great views, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. If you're planning a Middleburg wine day, start here. You won't regret it.

We reserved a private space with a private tasting, which made the day feel extra special and perfect for a large group. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and checked on us throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was going smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!
