They always have a really good selection of items in the bakery at every Publix I've been to. The ladies at the bakery counter were nice and asked if I needed help with anything. I asked them if they had the sugar free cheesecake (Publix brand) that I saw online, but they never heard of them carrying it. So I'm wondering if this location doesn't have them at all or if it's a special order you have to put in. I've never tried getting one from them before, so I'll have to look more into it. In any case, I was able to try the Enlightened keto strawberry cheesecake from the frozen section instead. Those were good. They come in single serving sizes and are a little pricy as most special made keto products are, but the flavor without the guilt made it worthwhile for me. I also picked up some brownies at my other half's request and some chocolate strawberries for myself. Both were very good items. I found the rest of my groceries with no issue. The store is clean and well-stocked like most Publix I've been to. Of course the prices generally are higher than Walmart, Kroger, or Aldi as I've mentioned before, but it's nice to stop in for certain items now and then. Shopping really is "a pleasure" here as their ad states. The customers even seem friendlier at Publix compared to other stores for some reason. At checkout I had two really nice young guys helping me. The bagger offered to help me to my car which was nice. I declined, but the thought was appreciated. You don't get that at every store and most people are just trying to rush you out so they can clock off for a break or go back to socializing. Overall, I would definitely come back to this location again and recommend it to anyone nearby or passing through.

It is by far the best, fried fish in town. One of concerns is that they never seem to fry enough at any given time. I typically purchase 6-7 pieces, which usually wipes out the entire batch, leaving maybe 2-3 pieces. I have even allowed others who just want a dinner go ahead of me, and wait another 20 minutes for another batch. The reason for 4instead of 5 is the unprofessional attitudes of some of the ladies working in the deli. It is actually intimidating to ask them any simple question. The young lady serving food used a loud expletive because she drop half of a fish in the baked beans which demonstrated unprofessionalism. I have encountered the continuous behavior during several shopping experiences. I mentioned it to a manager (Mr. Haggert, I believe)yesterday, who basically defended the workers by replying, "I've never heard that before." I responded, "only because no one took the time complain to you." What he doesn't hear is the conversations between all of the disgruntled customers at the Deli counter. Because of the fish alone, I would easily rate 5s easily, but the deli lacks customer satisfaction.

When you walk in you can tell they put a lot into it and that is certainly something to be proud of. The store itself is old, I don't know if it's the building or the store itself as I'm not from the area, but they've added some style and modern flair to it. Expect to find beautiful cuts of meat, fresh vegetables, cakes and desserts, lots of prepared foods along with all the essential pantry staples. They also have a deli section with Boars Head products as well as a small bistro inside though we didn't get to try it. Here you will also find some goodies you won't typically see at your chain grocers such as crawfish, pig's feet, or frog legs. They offer a variety of local seasonings, spices and condiments like jams, jellies, sauces as well as varieties of nuts and such... things you might typically find at a road side farmer's stand. The prices, I felt, leaned on the higher side but again, they are competing with conglomerates of mega corporations so some of that is to be expected, I'm sure they do the best they can in that regard. That said, they also had some great deals going as well. Worth a stop in? Yeah, for sure. If I lived close by I might hop in to grab a few things regularly, especially if I'm looking for specialty items as mentioned above. Aldi's is a decent shopping store if you know what you are looking for…read more As others mentioned, their produce is "okay," and honestly, you will get better quality and prices on most produce at Costco's, but Aldi's is excellent for soft cheeses (for sandwiches, burgers, etc..) and hard cheese (Asiago, Gouda, Parmesan, Cheddar), crackers, organic soups and pastas, sauces, and those sort of things. The staff at this location are always really friendly, and I appreciate that. As others have mentioned, keep in mind that off-brand items are less expensive, but name-brand items will cost more here than in your regular grocery store. A good example is I like Chobani Key Lime Greek Yogurt, and a 4-pack is usually around $5, and they have an Aldi's version, which tastes almost the same and costs half the price. Remember, you do need to pay a quarter to use a cart and bring your own bags, but I just put my stuff in the empty cardboard boxes they have and recycle them when I get home.
