However, the pain never went completely went away and my neck 'acted up' with increasing frequency. My regular neurologist became a hospitalist and was no longer seeing patients. He recommended Dr. Debiec who is not only knowledgeable, kind, patient, but, most importantly, he really listens to you. I had started having increased pain in my neck- not major- but enough to concern Dr. Debiec. THANK GOD for Dr. Debiec- he insisted I go for an MRI despite me saying my pain was no big deal. He really INSISTED! The MRI revealed major instability in my neck due to several factors, (too long to get into here), that required triple fusion surgery asap- or I could end up paralyzed if I had any trauma, (even a trip and fall), to my neck- needless to say I had surgery within the month with Dr. Frank Schwab at HSS- (a superstar surgeon- absolutely amazing- but that is for a different review-lol). Please note: I normally do not write reviews but Dr. Debiec is one of the 'good guys'- not just interested in your $$$ but truly wants to help his patients. Although Dr. Debiec's main office is in Westchester, he has office hours in Manhattan every other Thursday. I cannot recommend Dr. Debiec enough if you have any issues that require a neurologist- of course Dr. Debiec is board certified.

I will never go back to Dr. Solomon. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. He…read morewas arrogant, and extremely rude. He couldn't diagnose me, either, so it was pointless for me. All he was able to tell me was that I had a vitamin D deficiency, and in the cold months of February in NYC, I could have told you that. As I told him my father recently passed away from a rare cancer, during the family history question part of his consultation, he had some rude comments about my father's cancer situation. He acted as if my father didn't do enough to fight for his life, when he did everything NYC and Yale hospital had to offer him. He was extremely insulting and hurtful. A couple of months later while reviewing my blood over the phone with Dr. Solomon, he became rude once again. He reprimanded me for not calling him back sooner and acted super arrogant. As he was asking me questions about my health he wouldn't let me answer them because he kept speaking over me. No educated adult needs to be spoken down to like this. The conversation was a waste and very disrespectful. I did not appreciate his attitude, arrogance and ruddiness on either occasion. Maybe I could have looked passed all of the negatives, if he were able to help my health situation, but he wasn't. He put me on prednisone, which is something my primary doctor had already done three times before. Nothing revolutionary at all! This was a waste of time, money and effort. I do not recommend this doctor.

Naturally every patient must be proactive and ask questions, take notes, even record the visit because who can remember what a doctor says? I can't. That's for sure. Think of the sort of service you'd like to get in a doctor's office. That is the care I've received after only a month or so as a patient of Dr. Voloshin. Dr. VOLOSHIN has got great energy and I became very confident he would help me with my podiatric needs. He did help. A couple of x-rays and a discussion of my symptoms led to an MRI (which they got quickly approved by my insurance). The MRI confirmed Dr. Voloshin's diagnosis. This place just works the way I want a place to work when my well-being is at stake.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. Do not go to this person for bunion surgery. He will lie and take…read moreadvantage then last minute ask if it's okay for some med student to be in the operating room during your surgery. He used my own insecurities about how my foot looked against me to convince me to get toe shortening's promising it'd make my toes better than they were before and that I would end up with hammertoes if he didn't shorten them. All while assuring me the procedure was completely routine and safe, that he's performed hundreds of them (horrifying to reflect on now). I feel dumb for ever believing him. By shortening the toes he created hammertoes and arthritis in the middle joints. My surgery was performed september 2020. He caused a large bone spur to form, increased the angle of my bunion, took too much bone so now I'd need a bone graft from my hip to fix, and further rotated the sesimoid so that only one knob hits the ground when I walk making it incredibly painful to walk barefoot or without cushioned insoles. Not to mention my previously functioning lesser toes being crippled by his "corrective" surgery. He is a bad bad person. Do not go to him. If you need bunion surgery I highly suggest going to an orthopedic foot surgeon as I'm discovering more and more that most podiatrist surgeons should not be trusted for any surgery. I wish I'd known more at the time and I wish there had been more on the internet warning me of the predatory nature of podiatry or else I'd still have my functioning toes and wouldn't need another surgery to correct the bunion he only made worse. He 100000% should not have a medical license at this point. Remember, health care in this country is a for-profit BUSINESS. Do not get conned by going to this person.
