Brian received a significant financial deposit by mutual agreement to help get the project started. We agreed to at least weekly communication to report on progress. These weekly connections have not happened. No work has been completed and uploaded to the site for review. Repeated efforts to connect via phone, email and text have not resulted in any traction on the project. Since it has been over 6 months with minimal response, and no results, I have come to the conclusion that this contractor is either not capable of doing the work or unwilling to fulfill the terms of our agreement. The right thing to do, at this point, would be to: 1) acknowledge that he cannot fulfill the contract; and 2) return the financial deposit made. I share my experience so that others carefully consider whether they want to engage the services of Brian Kniveton. Do not advance any money. And only pay after the work is completed. I absolutely do not recommend Brian Kniveton for software development projects.
