I made the appointment and filled out any blanks the site asked I was given an appointment at 10 AM today December 15. I showed up at 9:54, people in the store but the door was closed and there was a burglar bar behind it. Two other people walked in with me at 10 AM. The clerk asked what I was there for and I explained I had an appointment at 10 AM to repair the iPhone battery. Rather than say OK we have you in our system and we have the battery he said "let me check and see if I've got that battery". Next he said we have the battery and you can get the phone in two or three days because we don't have a technician today. I replied "since this is an organization that has powerful algorithms at your disposal wouldn't it be customer friendly to inform someone before they drove 40 minutes to hear this information you're telling me" The clerk replied smartly "all I do is ask the questions and give you your options" as if he didn't consider anything I said or the fact that I had gone out of my way to give him business. I took my phone and I ordered a replacement battery from the Internet and will insert it myself like I have before on other iPhones. I will not go back!! Later today I was telling this to a friend who had a similar experience there. Maybe they can get their website and technology and appointment scheduler up to snuff so as to avoid a lot of people an inconvenience in this modern day of electronic algorithms.
