I made the move from a larger gym to ITC and haven't looked back! Ricardo and his staff are extremely personable and welcoming. My personal trainer, Mikel, has been a perfect fit for what I was looking to achieve! He flexibly tailors my training program to my lifestyle and encourages me even outside the gym! For example. when I had a goal to cut weight and gain muscle, Mikel created a daily program to fit this request, even if I was traveling or unable to make it to ITC! When my goals shifted, he was diligent about adjusting the program to focus more on building strength. I need an accountability partner to achieve goals (that often change), and Mikel facilitates data-driven programming that incorporates a foundation of positive reinforcement and accountability. Since starting with Mikel over a year ago (and after many previous personal trainers), I have finally learned proper technique for lifting! I started working with Ricardo on April with the main goal of losing body fat without losing muscles. Over the course of 3-4 months my body fat percentage got dropped by 5.7%, I built more muscle mass and I'm in a much better shape. Ricardo is smart, patient, humble and very pleasant to work with. Ricardo is an amazing coach, I admire him a lot! His sessions are fun, I like how he focuses on all the components of fitness; stretching, unique exercises, and diet. He has helped me with my flexibility and to improve my posture in each exercise. This is only one of his highlights.
