(Underline that and picture it in bold text.) We paid for Rick and I even have it in writing that he is a one man operation but still he did not show up. Instead, he went off to Texas to watch his daughter play soccer and his wife showed up unannounced to DJ my daughter's wedding. He didn't have the decency to tell us he was pulling a bait and switch on us and when I complained and asked for some of my money back, he offered me $100 provided that I sign a piece of paper saying he did a good job and I would not post a negative review. Guess what Rick? I am not a happy customer and I am wondering how many of your customers you bought off. PS: RIck's wife, Edna, did a mediocre job and there were several problems that reduced the quality of the special event. The primary reason for my unhappiness is that I did not get what I paid for. Not showing up to your own gig is very unprofessional and anyone considering hiring Rick to DJ their event should think twice. If you do hire him, edit his contract before you sign it. We used LA Image as our DJ for our wedding…read more Their lighting and sound system was great! They arrived promptly for setup and their services are priced very reasonably. We were contacted immediately and kept in contact from the time we inquired to the Big Day. We gave a schedule of our wedding to our two DJs which we ended up falling behind in. Luckily our sweetheart table was located right next to the DJ's table so we were able to verbally remind them when it was time to cue certain songs or make announcements. I'm not sure why we had two DJs as one seemed more than enough. Both DJs were very friendly and sweet but seemed uncomfortable with making announcements. They did not demand the attention of the guest and therefore several of our guest didn't here or understand the announcements the Dj made. Several songs weren't played precisely on cue so I felt that the DJs need to follow the schedule and have their computers ready to play. The Emcee service is okay, but in the future I would have a close friend or relative Emcee. The DJs did their best and everything turned out fine! So thank you LA Image.

However, once you get in touch with them, they are very nice and have decent communication with you. For the amount that they charge, their quality is very good. I paid less than $600 for 4 hours and got exactly what I wanted. They had all the strange music requests that I wanted. My husband also had his bachelor party there at their studio. With a lot of stress in the beginning with miscommunication and lack of contact, they were unhappy with the service leading up to the party. However, once they had the party, the staff was very helpful and they were easy to work with. They did an excellent job. As long as you're willing to stress a little over the inconsistent communication, I think the quality of their sounds sytem and their price is awesome. If I had to do it all over again, I would book them and tell myself to have a little more patience with them. ***Update***Gwen is really nice to work with, she's always nice on the phone. This company called my on my cell phone asking me to re-word my review in regards to how long it took for them to contact me.

Finally when I asked for a refund (asking only to charge us for DJ transportation) the owner refused, he said they're small company and cannot afford to refund instead he offered a free DJ service for future events. Now, when will we ever use that? And the sad part... WE CAN NEVER TURN BACK TIME for missed opportunity of having a fun wedding to our guests. We are VERY FRUSTRATED.
