The amount of ride breakdowns during the day was just sad. There were several points in the day where I would look around and see that not a single one of the DC rides (Flash, DC Rivals, Superman, Green Lantern, Batwing) were operating and it seemed to last for several minutes each time before I would see another car go for any of them. Every coast I waited for broke down and had pretty significant delays as I was in line. The DC Rivals Hypercoaster was my favorite and definitely worth doing. The line was pretty long though. Do the single rider if you are limited on time, you can ride that multiple times in the time it takes for the regular line to process. There is also a serious lack of efficiency here. Every ride sees to run only a single car at a time. Most parks I've been to will usually have multiple cars going at once, but there just doesn't seem to be any urgency here. Even on the kid rides we were sitting around waiting for the rides to start after boarding for multiple minutes. The food was at least pretty decently priced. There is an online deal for $27 that gives you a meal, souvenir sipper cup, and ice cream. You save around $13 with that deal. The meal was typical theme park food, but the Vanilla Coke and ice cream were both great. Parking is also free. We got a 2 park combo ticket which lets us get into Sea World as well. I think if we hadn't done that, I would have been frustrated with the pricing, but getting to go to Sea World as well for just a little more than a 1 day ticket made the price not feel bad. You can get all the rides done here (assuming they don't break down even more than they did the day we went) in a day if you get there when the park opens.

They immediately sent an email with your ticket as well as when to arrive, where to meet, recommended attire, and what to expect. The tour includes a morning snack in the koala cafe and lunch. Upon arrival, I spotted our guide and was provided a form to fill out with food selections. I was very impressed with options as well as the helpings. The food was quite delicious and filling. I don't know if I will ever be back in Brisbane in my lifetime but this was well worth the price. I'm glad I took the plunge and went for it! Far exceeded my expectations!

The picture was quite quick, and quite costly, but if you're like my family and I who love Koalas, it was worth it. The koala menu and pantry were such a cute addition to the koala area. Because of the rain, it was hard to explore the whole park even when wearing a poncho. You also had to pay to enter the park, despite booking the experience. We heard it's free later in the afternoon though (not sure if that's accurate but what we were told!).

Now I know there are petting zoos in the USA but those are for farm animals. Here you can pet the Koalas. I'll say that again- pet the Koalas! You can't do that in Sydney. The kangaroo station has them hopping around in the open for you to pet and Feed! If that's not enough the wallaby encounter allows you to pet the emu. No you cannot pet the wallabies. You can however feed the lorikeets(green bird) at your own peril. There are other animals here to see that doesn't exist in North America Zoos so don't miss it.

Also, keep in mind we strategically visited during the working week well away from school holidays so the queues were pretty good. Mostly waited 5-10 mins for rides, only did 30 min waits once or twice. (Can imagine in peak times the lines would get cray-cray, so understand some of the queue gripes from other Yelpers.) Rides of note: - Tower of Terror 2: Don't understand the Terminator link, but the ride sure is great. Shoots you out and back so fast it almost doesn't feel real. (Too fast to even get scared!) - Pandamonium is in the kids-land part of the park, but is probably one of the craziest rides there. Goes wayyy too long, but is pretty thrilling. - Shockwave is listed as a family ride, but is more of a thrill than it looks. - Buzzsaw was ok. One of those 'tick, I did it!' rides more than it was an enjoyable one. - Log ride and Rapids are exactly what you'd expect. - Damn, The Giant Drop sure is a long way up. Also, the Tiger show is well worth a visit. Very impressive creatures. If you get lucky you might get to see the little cub around the park too, and even get a pat in. Big tick also for having so many water bubblers across the park. The website also mentions that you can't bring food in, but they don't check so go nuts. Looking forward to coming back when they're back operating at full capacity.

This isn't the biggest game arcade I've ever seen, but there's certainly enough there to entertain. So if you're after a way to cure school holiday boredom, why not combine this with a movie and your kids will have gorgeous square eyes before you know it.

It is a pretty good water park with some good rides and fun little kiddie park.... the lines to go on the rides are ridiculously long and so incredibly slow.... staff don't seem to be that efficient at getting people through.... so would recommend that you go early or don't go during school holidays.... because there's not that many rides and you're competing with so many people... it takes forever to go down one ride. I would recommend that you take your lunches and snacks with you.... food options are limited, expensive and not very nice.... there's lots of junk food but no real healthy options.... and especially if you're vego - there's absolutley nothing here other than chips and cake.... so bring something with you! lockers cost $10 per day... and only take change - so make sure you grab that before you enter the park.. otherwise you have to line up with everyone else getting change and competing to grab locker - which there doesn't seem as though there are enough of them at the park for everyone. The wave pool is great!..... Love the pipeline plunge area with the dumping water bucket - lots of fun... The supertube hydrocoaster seems to be the most popular ride and the line is super long... so get there early and do that one first... Great day out for everyone and definitely one park to make sure that you do while visiting the Gold Coast - highly recommend, but go there early and not during school holidays! :)

I don't really care much for drops and slides though and was happiest in the Cave of Waves ocean wave pool and splashing around with the kids at the Pipeline Plunge, waiting for the big bucket to tip over! Food options are poor (hot dogs and chips) so you might want to bring your own. I don't think it's worth the money for a day pass but if you're planning on going to WhiteWater World/ Dreamworld over several days the multiday passes would be better value at only a few dollars more.
