I went here with friends and we got a booth upstairs. It wasn't too loud so I was able to get some studying done. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and it was good! Maybe kind of pricey it was 160P. Didn't try the food but the cakes are 100 plus for a slice. Come here for the studying environment. It is very cute. I was here on a Friday night and it wasn't completely packed. Hopefully I can go here earlier in the day so I can really study all day here. It is open until 3am! My issue is that there is no wifi...only good thing is that less distractions but sometimes you just need some good wifi while studying. Excited to come back here and study even more :)

But what I love about this cafe is their booths for seating. If you are fond of sitting in the floor or lying down, then this place is for you! It's a great place to hang out with your friends, chill and it is also a great place for study. They have ample electric outlets which make them also a great place to work or charge your gadgets. One downside is that they don't have wifi, which is one of the things I consider for a perfect hangout place. But if you do want to really talk and hangout with your friends, this will be a good place for you.

Really adorable cafe. It has a bit of a country porch feel or mom and pop type of store, but…read moretrendy. Since recently discovering Yelp hit the Philippines after returning 7 months down the line. Me and some family ventured out here to check out Ted's. My cousin had mentioned the food being very good albeit a bit pricier than local fair. Of course, that was true, but we agreed quality was there. We tried a few of their shakes-- Mango Peach, Apple Basil, Mandarin Lime, the BBQ chicken pizza, bacon cheddar fries, the seafood puttanesca, and Ted's linguine. The shakes that have fruit in their names don't seem to have milk in them and are more like finely blended slushies. A really amazing treat to escape from all the heat. I thought the apple basil and mandarin lime were the better of the 3 we got since they seemed more refreshing. The peach made the mango shake a lot heavier in comparison. For the apple basil, you can really taste the basil, but it didn't seem too overpowering, however, I'm unsure if I could drink the entire thing. The Mandarin Lime was really refreshing though. Ted's Linguine - Creamy as advertised. All the pastas seem to come with a bread stick too. Not much to really say. It was overall, really good and a great safe choice if you want pasta but not feeling adventurous. Seafood Puttanesca - Probably my favorite. Came with mussels and shrimp with bread. The sauce was a nice flavor and seasoned well. BBQ Chicken Pizza - Also really good, but much more like a flat bread and not very pizza like. Definitely think flat bread. It came with a pile of cabbage like greens as garnish and was nicely cooked. Though at the end we were questioning if it had any chicken in it as none of us could recall ever tasting the chicken. The sauce had a really nice smokey flavor though. Bacon Cheddar Fries - Very standard fries with bits of fried bacon crumbled with a drizzling of cheese. It was very tidy. I'd definitely be happy to return to try more off their menu or just to keep in mind of a place with very good drinks. They also have coffee and cakes so I imagine they'd make a nice sit in coffee shop too.

When we went there was even a live band, but they weren't unbearably loud like I've typically experienced so kudos to that. I've often just left restaurants or coffee shops because the band was far too loud to even talk to the people next to you without yelling. The back of the cafe is very comfortable too. They have a nice seating area with comfortable stools and chairs that make it very cozy and probably would make a great place to hang out, maybe do some work or relax. For the menu-- they've got a lot covered. For the coffee drink fanatic or drinkable treats lover, they have Italian style sodas, frappucinos, lattes, and teas. They also have a bit of a savory menu inclusive of pizza and pasta. We had ordered two pizzas, I believe they were the Jookin Specials, a large variety of frappe coffee drinks, latte, and a Shirley Temple. The Shirley Temple was a vibrant red drink garnished with a cherry and small lemon wedge. Love the presentation and the tastes is very refreshing. It's a cherry flavored soda essentially and is non-alcoholic. Also tried the Hazelnut and Almond Frappucinos. You can definitely taste the hazelnut and almond. Overall, I prefer the almond, but both are very similar. While there wasn't anything terribly special to me about the pizza, it was very good, and I'd be happy to come get it again. There were tons to try on the menu here too, especially their frappucino menu which offers coffee or vanilla based drinks to choose from. Next time, green tea!

Even if it's a bit of arts and culture you're craving, BF's got you covered, too. Artists Haven Gallery and Cafe is along Aguirre Avenue, the subdivisions' main road known also as a foodie destination in itself. From the outside it does seem really small, like what might be just another gallery.. perhaps a room and some paintings. Little did I know that it's truly like a "haven" for artists--spacious and beautifully designed interiors, a well-curated collection of paintings and sculptures, and they have a cafe too! It's a place that anyone would really be inspired to create in, or if you'd simply want to forget that you're in BF for a while, this is the place to go to "rejuvenate" your soul... or something. They also offer art workshops for kids and adults, too! If you're not much into the arts, don't walk away, they have a charming cafe for you. The dishes are named after painters! Though for vegetarians/vegans, there are only a few veggie options: just soups and salads, for which you'd have to still request to remove ingredients X, Y and Z from, just ask). I tried one of their best sellers, Crispy Suman con Tsokolate (you can request for dairy to be omitted), which is a good choice for a light merienda. I was able to chat with the owner of a place, and news is that they're coming up with regular events that involve live music and wine!
