Tried to address it with Monarch first, they told me to basically take a hike. Went to Fairfax county who forced them to redo the BMP. Fast forward to months later, my yard looks like a war zone. Why? I have a ravine in the front yard. They redid the front yard design without showing us the plan. My sprinklers were cut up, driveway damaged. Monarch wants me to sign off on an agreement to remove all of the bad reviews first before they'll finish the work. I have two holes on the basement ceiling which they caused and refuse to fix. The hole was to try to locate the issues on the main floor which feels loose. I had the floors inspected and several issues was found which have yet to be fixed. I still have bowing walls I finally had to have the ceiling drywall issues fixed by my own contractors We still have poor airflow on the mainfloor and basement because the duct wasn't adequately sized. They did add two dampers on the mainfloor and upstairs which didn't help The driveway and walkway continue to crumble. The garage slab continues to crack and have completely seperated from the wall structure. I had a structural engineer assessed and found many issues Monarch have repeatedly dragged their feet on completing their feet on completing the work. The last email from Jason Furtek basically said that the warrant have expired, and they're not finishing the work.

Some other closing attorney told me that these gyes normally earn some interest on your funds. They lied o me that funds will be release soon over and over and cited wire issues. When I told them I work for a bank and I know how wires work, they changed the story to funds not yet recieved form buyers. On my second closing i made sure the realtor is not using this scam of a business. Really disappointed and would suggest to anyone who is thinking of using this business to entrust their funds.

Chris kept me in the loop throughout the process from # of interested parties, how many showed up for open-house and how many would show up a second or third time. With this data we were able to set the appropriate asking price for the home and lower when appropriate. I had control and choice the entire time with Chris advising his thoughts and what the studies show. It's a balance between finding the right price and not holding a mortgage without tenants for too long. From pricing to negotiating home inspection items and contractor upgrades to bring home to pristine condition after being a rental - the entire process was smooth! Chris and Elena worked overtime day, night and weekends to keep me informed and work with the buyer, buyers agent and settlement companies. They were 100% always available if I had a question or concern. Elena made sure she got a hold of me for any important questions or decisions, and I'm not always the easiest the reach. She got it down. If I had to do everything again the only change may have been the construction company contractor we used to upgrade the home. I was in the hospital when this was going on so it was a crazy time, and lesson learned is to ensure they check with HOA prior to making any external changes/upgrades no matter how good they look or similar to other homes. Some HOA's are strict, even when it comes to an inch thick bar on a storm door! This was outside of Chris and Elena's control so no stars deducted. As a matter of fact Chris worked with the miscue and was able to soothe everything over for an on time settlement, even with moving parts on the actual day of closing!! I would highly recommend giving Chris and Elena a call if you are buying or selling a home, you will be pleased with the ease and stress-free process.

It will be almost five years since I have been in the house they built for me and absolutely nothing has broken! I am an OCD cleaner and the house looks as good as the day I moved in. I see, almost daily, the good quality of materials used and sound workmanship. No fading of paint, no chipped tiles or bathtubs, nothing coming apart. I was highly communicative during the build process and they reciprocated. Today marks the day that they completed the 30-item punch list - we had an item that was back ordered with the appliance supplier and it was just successfully installed. I am so impressed with Classic's follow-through and working through all of the remaining items, including items where an original subcontractor disappeared and they had to pay someone else to come out and finish the item. We then worked with Will Larson who managed the initial operations of the project before passing us over to Daniel Russell who was the on-site project manager. We have had an awful experience with both Evergreene's construction crews and their sales…read moredepartment. The construction crew has been blocking both our and a neighbor's driveway whenever they please despite being told not to do so. They have thrown trash all over our property. They also had to remediate for asbestos and left many materials on the site where the next day heavy machinery was picking up the materials and causing a huge cloud of dust to blow all over our property, our cars and the yard where my pets play. Additionally, Evergreene has been parking blocking a fire hydrant and crosswalk which is illegal and dangerous to children crossing the street who cannot see oncoming traffic. Despite reaching out to Evergreene on these issues nothing has changed and it appears that we will have to turn to law enforcement to correct the danger Evergreene is causing. I also contacted Evergreene regarding a lot they had. It took six weeks for Evergreene to offer me an appointment, and they only did so once the lot was under contract. It is my opinion that the way Evergreene Homes has handled things has been dangerous, illegal and without regard to anyone around their projects. We have neighbors who also lived next door to one of their projects who were beside themselves over the construction and damage to their property and now have issues with the people who purchased that house. I would never recommend doing business with Evergreene Homes.
