I cannot say enough good things about Bulow Jewelers. I had previously tried to get an engagement…read morering through a highly respected jewelry store near me in Virginia. They didn't produce what we had agreed upon, and wanted to jack up the final cost by 25% over what they had promised a few days earlier. I was discouraged, and thought there was no way that I would be able to propose in Colorado the way that I had planned. So when we got into town, I tried 3 jewelry stores with my girlfriend. The first two were very typical. They tried to lock me in by buying the diamond first before they would even discuss the gold working that I wanted. They had little actual inventory to show us, and their turn around time was several weeks. Bulow Jewelers was completely different. They had a sizable inventory from which we could explore and talk about our ideas. Serena was very informative and helpful, and showed us a variety of different stones and settings so that we could visualize what was possible. She then ordered in a number of other settings and stones so that we could refine what we were interested in achieving. It was so easy, and my girlfriend loved the experience. Completely different than any of the other dozen jewelry stores that we had tried. SERENA LISTENED TO US. That was huge. In the end, not only did Serena get the ring made exactly the way we wanted it, but had it delivered to us in time for me to propose in the way that I had been planning. Total time from us walking in the door to me having the ring in my hand: 54 hours. I didn't think it was possible, but Serena made it happen. They were transparent about their (reasonable) prices, and delivered what they said that they would, in a timeframe that I frankly thought was impossible. I can't say enough good things about them or recommend them highly enough. 5/5 stars is not high enough.

Went in on Monday and spoke with Avi about a custom engagement ring. After they played hot potato…read morewith the live customer and he was done texting on his phone, he was very helpful. Thorough explanation of options, very knowledgeable. He even showed us mock designs. It was great. They had us fill out a contact card and we did. Avi looked at me and said "okay, let me source this, I'll be in touch." I left deciding "okay despite the awkward first 10 minutes this feels like a good fit." My partner the same. It's been a week and we haven't heard a peep from them - not even a "hey, we're working on sourcing your gem....thanks for your patience." Bizarre I guess we didn't have a big enough budget to get a text back. Avoid

I've used Steve Parks Goldsmith for several years now, from custom jewelry design to watch repair…read moreand service. When our son was born I wanted to get my wife something special that had both of our children's birthstones in it. Jan helped me pick out the design and Steven made something that can only be described as a priceless work of art. It will become a family heirloom I am sure. On top of that, my mother-in-law had some old family rings that need repair and TLC. Because of their age and pricelessness, the mainstream jewelry stores wouldn't touch them. I took them to Steven and he flawlessly fixed the rings and made them look new. Their work speaks for itself, whenever we look to buy jewelry or need the expert craft of Steven, this is the place we go without hesitation. They will certainly surpass your expectations.

Received ill fitting set that clashed. Cast metal totally different, Sharp edges, prongs catch snags on everything, design is top heavy lopsided that twists and flops causes the piece to hammer on the flesh. Painful. Tight in all the wrong places caused nerve damage. Radiates pain constantly. The gem point was set too low and digs into flesh, bloody wound. Steve said "oh you will get used to it." Product is completely different than what was originally agreed upon. Then the Gem fell out of setting. Clearly It was not set properly. What was supposed to be a joyful moment turned into the Worst painful experience. Painful nerve damage Unable to wear. Steve blamed it all on me. Terrible customer service. Worst experience.

I have used these guys for simple things like battery's and resizing rings etc. Never had an issue…read moreand team was always pleasant and competent. I collect unusual timepieces, but I just figured you need to have them service by high end Jewlers like - well lets not name names So my most recent experiences. A Omega Marine chronometer - very obscure piece. I take it to a high end jeweler They send it to Zurich because there the only ones who can work on it. about a year and $400 later I have a new battery which promptly lasts 6 months. So I take it to fast fix and say "doubt you can work on this" Watch guy says I have heard of this but never worked on one let me take a look. So off to Perrys for lunch. 40 minutes later your Omega is done. You opted for the lifetime battery thats $70 . This watch only runs 5-6 month at a time. Brought it in recently as it was dead again. Lunch at Perry's and its working - new battery - no charge. So watch number 2 a 20 year old Rado made of synthetic sapphire/ceramic composite. I manage to break the custom clasp messing with it myself. Tiny parts fly across the room disappearing in my carpet for eternity. Off to two high end Jewlers. - We wont touch that send it to Rado in Switzerland. Be prepared for a huge bill. So on a whim I take it to FF and say what about this? This thing obviously spooked them as they are extremely hard to work on without damaging the bracelet that can cost in the 4 digits to replace. So I say take a look and f you can fix it go for it - entire staff sees this as a challenge. People are looking at it under microscopes to figure out how the original clasped worked. Gauntlet down - back to Perrys. I get a call 90 minutes later well we managed to repair it but we want to make sure your good with the cost of doing so. I as quoted a very reasonable figure that was an order of magnitude less than Rado. Whats shocking is there are no stock parts for this watch. They literally manufactured a tiny compression spring/rod with sub millimeter precision. Why? Because its a interesting piece and we appreciate your enthusiasm for fine watches and a challenge too. To people who say batteries cost a buck why is it so much. Well the sutures the surgeon put in cost a few cents plus some plasma anesthetic etc. Why was a transplant $300000 because there's years of training, supplies electricity, building a hospital and paying its staff. I feel like I got a surgical team on my watch complete with tiny instruments, microscopes, laser cutters and well trained personnel. Do the math - in my case it was WELL worth it. I cant vouch for other locations but I found the service here epic

The honestly wasted my time. I dropped my watch off a week ago to have a few dial markers…read morereattached and the watch itself repaired. Only the dial markers were reattached, and now there is no longer time to have the watch repaired before I need to wear it for an event. I could have had it repaired elsewhere in the same amount of time if they had let me know it would not be possible to repair it while it was in their possession. I'm honestly super upset to come back to pay for my watch to be repaired and learn that it still doesn't work. I didn't assume that keeping time was part of the service, I specifically asked for it to be able to keep time as part of the work order. No one called me, no one communicated that this would not be done. Instead they just played with my watch while real professionals could have been repairing it. Very upsetting.
