Even a few days later, when I thought of more things to ask, he was quick to respond and made sure I got the info I needed. I asked a lot of off the wall things, but he was patient and made sure I understood the explanation of different types of patios and materials. Before starting the project, he walked me through the plan and introduced me to my project manager, Luis. Luis was great, he kept me updated the whole way, even during the first week when I was out of town. I had no worries and I was able to enjoy my vacation while full on construction was going on at my home. Every crew that came out, roofing, painting, cement, told me what they were there to do and asked if I had any questions before getting started. I also have to mention Blanca in the office, every time I called, she was so friendly and easy to talk to, it was like I'd known her for years. The end result? My patio is beautiful! I was torn between putting money down on a larger home and moving, or building a patio to add square footage for gatherings. I am so happy I went with a new patio instead of the debt of a new home. I had to personally put getting any remodeling and home additions on hold while I cared for my dad for over a year. We talked about my patio dream before he passed in March. He kept telling me -"get that patio done". I'll think of him every time I'm enjoying my new space.

The job started and ended on schedule and within the budget that we had agreed to with no surprises (we had some minor additions). We had some feedback on somethings we wanted done slightly differently and he was receptive and helped incorporate it (like sanding the posts, changing out few lattice). We had received quotes from many contractors but we are glad we went ahead with Greatheights outdoor living The only thing that was a slight disappointment was the spacing on the lattice. we had requested for 4" but it turned out 6". it still looks great so we are happy with it. We would definitely recommend. His price for the quality and professionalism was worth it. The pictures speak for themselves.

I explained this to Roger and he assured me he could come by (after I sent pics) and complete the job the next day. He did not show up. I kept calling him and he finally answered and promised me he would be by the next day at 10 am. That time came and went so I found someone else who did an excellent job- THAT SAME DAY!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Roger texted me later saying he forgot about another appt he had. I could not trust his word nor his broken promises. As a contractor myself, I know things happen but at a least, contact clients and keep communication open esp when expectations are set and deadlines are due.

We had a great GREAT experience with Allied outdoor solution. We have a 4th floor rooftop patio on…read moreour townhome, and we found ourselves not sitting out there as much as we'd like, especially during the summer. We didn't quite know where to start, but got a recommendation from a neighbor to look at Allied, and we are so glad we did. Stephen came out to look at the patio, walk through our options, and get us a quote, which all took less than an hour. We let him know our biggest concern was color, and that we wanted something that would match our house, and not just a flat white color that looks out of place. So Stephen came back the very next day with samples of all different sorts of color options, we found one that matched our brown accents perfectly, and we were set! Colin was awesome too, and he took some time to visit with us on what we were looking for in more detail, what design we wanted, how we wanted the pergola spaced out for shade, fan options, outlet options, etc. He helped us lay out everything we wanted, and answered every question we had. Rodrigo and Paris were great with the construction. They got the whole thing built out starting at 8:30am, and finished by 3! It was incredible! All that materials making it up to the 4th floor with absolutely no scraping the outside of the house, and didn't have to bring in anything through the house and up the stairs. Everything was just cut and hoisted straight from the backyard to the roof. When we had one small request after completion to change the alignment of the piece that the ceiling fan would screw into, they came out and got it adjusted immediately without any hesitation. AND! They always wore masks. Whenever they were in our house they were always respectful of social distancing and sanitizing their ipads for us, etc. We so appreciated that. I've attached some before and after pictures here. It's beautiful. We love it, it looks great, it'll last forever, and we know that if we have any questions pop up down the road, that Stephen, Colin, and Rodrigo and crew will get us taken care of. When you are able to reach Brant Bloem, he says he will return your call but never follows through. Most of the time, you're sent to voicemail, and messages are rarely--if ever--returned. In addition to the lack of communication, there have been ongoing product issues with the Carve Stone and the repairs that were done were subpar. The product itself has not held up as it was originally promised. Overall, the customer service has been frustrating and unreliable. I would not recommend using this company unless you are prepared to deal with significant communication issues and poor follow-through.
