Our dinner at the Inferno was interesting. We ordered the spinach salad with chicken and primarily out of curiosity we ordered the black pasta with chicken. My salad came out 15 minutes before his pasta. So we shared the salad and then the pasta. The salad was very very good! The pasta was gross. Clumpy and sticky. I regret the pasta. But salad was awesome! Looks like the pizzas were popular. Everything look great. I came to Brawley expecting nothing in the way of awesome eats, but then I went to Inferno. It's funny how one little restaurant, and one solid meal, will change your perspective on a town. I'll spare you the descriptive words on the decor and all that mess... the place is cool, spartan, and has big tvs. Those are all wins. Service was great, too, so not a lot to talk about there. So what's left? The food. I ordered the Bison burger, which is a buffalo burger with arugula, an aioli, grilled onions, and cheese. It is not a revolutionary burger at all, but it was super delicious. Everything was just done so well. The buffalo patty itself was cooked perfectly medium, which I'm always afraid of asking for because it's usually under or over cooked slightly. The aioli was good, the onions were perfect, and even the fries were good. All in all, I cannot complain. This place would be a cool spot in any city, but it's a diamond in Brawley. read more

My husband and I make this a must every time we come visit our family in Brawley! The pizza is delicious, you can really taste the quality in the cheese, aged pepperoni, the perfect sauce, paired with an amazing crust and baked perfectly in their brick/stone oven. This restaurant also offered the best brisket I have ever tasted, and I must mention I eat at Lucille's often and this brisket blows it out of the water! It melts in your mouth! The ambiance is unlike any other you'll find in all of Imperial Valley. It's rustic, industrial, casual, with hometown heart infused in its very walls. Every time I'm there the music being played is fantastic and the staff are really accommodating. On my last visit I was excited to be in town for a live music event. This location has an awesome outdoor area with a generous stage, fire pit, exposed brick, bar, and my favorite, it's very own restrooms so you don't have to go far from the music or deal with lines. Now when you go you have to save room and try the Dougheez! Consider a half order as the full is huge! These are delightful mini pillows of dough are deep fried just enough to give you a bit of crunch before it's warm, soft, center. They are tossed in caramel and topped with a very generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. And if that isn't decadent enough, you get raspberry sauce to dip them in. Too sweet you say? Not at all! The balance is divine! If that's not for you, they also have a date shake made with famous locally sourced dates. Lastly, I really love that this restaurant supports it's local businesses. Walked in and was promptly greeted and seated. Slow Sunday as two other tables were occupied. Server was quick and knowledgeable. We ordered two salads-Ceasars and Spinach-both were excellent. The Margharita pizza was also excellent. Music and atmosphere was good-not too loud and a somewat eclectic mix made it a comfortable lunch. Armando the manager was attentive and friendly. Went for dinner last night. It was awesome! The ambiance and decor is really nice, very different from the chain restaurants we're used to in the Valley. There was live music playing.... I can't remember who it was, but it was a guy with a guitar and he was very, very good. At times it was a little too loud to speak, but the music was good so it wasn't a bother. I definitely recommend going to Wings Night Wednesday, because the wings are delicious!!!! My boyfriend ordered the bison burger with fries and it was devoured within minutes. I ordered the margherita pizza.........................and I would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. Simply because it tasted as if there were dried basil flakes in the sauce. I tossed out dried basil flakes from my kitchen years ago, because anything you put it into tastes musty and dried. The pizza looked delicious, but I couldn't get over that musty flavor from the dried basil. If the owners read this: Basil grows nearly all year long and it can grow indoors. It's a low maintenance plant.... grow some for the restaurant!!! But stop using the basil flakes. We ate maybe 3 slices and took it to-go. Overall, I recommend Inferno. The service is taking forever. We order an hour ago and still haven't gotten our food, but they bring everyone's else order.

I have given this place too many chances. Every time we come they mess our order up if we even receive it at all. 1st chance: We never received drinks and then got our food BEFORE the appetizer. When we tasted the pizza it was completely over cooked and soggy and the fries were cold and limp. Still no drinks. It was horrible. But one of the managers who is younger clean cut with darker hair was very nice and comped the meal with an apology. For the customer service we gave it a second chance. 2nd chance: We ordered a bbq pizza with chicken and no onions. When they brought it they forgot the chicken and jalapeños. We sent it back. The waitress came back 2 minutes later with cold chicken thrown on top and burnt crust. We sent it back again. Third time it comes out. No jalapeños. There's like 3 ingredients on this pizza how do you make a mistake from your own menu? The same manger apologized and took the pizza off. So we decided to give them a third try. 3rd chance: We ordered fries which mind you are 8.00 and a plain cheese pizza with no cheddar cheese. (They put cheddar weird right) anyway, fries were great but the pizza of course couldn't just be normal. There were whole leaves of basil under the cheese in the sauce. One of the waitresses came by and apologized and agreed that the basil is never that big in the sauce. Our actual waiter comes back and says they're making a new pizza but the kitchen wants us to know that "there will be pieces of basil in the sauce that's just how it's made and sometimes the blender doesn't get all of it." Look, I've worked in restaurants, I'm not stupid if your blender is leaving whole leaves in your sauce you need a new method or a new blender. Having basil in sauce is normal if decent size PIECES in it, but leaves covering the bottom of my pizza wtf? My family orders takeout all the time and I've come here a handful of times and KNOW that's never happened. Stop making excuses and get consistency in your food. You're embarrassing with the blatant excuses for poor execution. If you can't make consistent sauce in a pizza place, you probably shouldn't have one. You need the nice manager that has actual common sense and customer service in the kitchen as well apparently. The same manager came by and was nice as always, we said we didn't want the pizza remade with the whole basil plant in our sauce. We paid for our fries and left. Three strikes. I love this place. Tonight the head chef Arnold made me a Buffalo (bison) pizza (not a menu item, just because I asked). This has got to be the best pizzas I've had. The service was top notch as always. My favorite server Danielle took great care of me. She always makes me feel at home. Like I'm dinning with friends. Great tasting food! Just what the city of Brawley needed! We went on a wed and they have wing wed! $0.75 wings. We got sweet Asian and Korean BBQ flavor. Sweet Asian was better than the Korean BBQ in my opinion. Their ranch is yummy. Hubby got a burger and fries. Burger was so - so. Fries were real tasty and thick. I got the wedge Cesar salad which was amazing. We shared the Tropical pizza which also was amazing. My 2 boys got the kids meal with chicken strips and fries. We went in and the waitress was really nice and sat us right away, gave us our menus. We ordered two pineapple sculpins and a soda for the kiddo and she brought our drinks rather quickly, which on the menu they said $6 and on the bill they were $13 each! My boyfriend didn't tell until we got home because only he knows! Anyway, we waited a good while for our food and let me tell you the wait was not worth it. The buns on my Cattle Call burger were all burned and hard, I told the waitress I wanted my patty well done and it was burned along with the bacon and the fries as well, the lettuce was yellow. My boyfriend's burger too was hard and just not very appealing, my kids chicken tenders were salty! They have to look for a good cook ASAP that can multitask and not burn the food. My husband had the Bleu Burger with fries and it's was great! A perfect medium rare. My kiddos had the kids chicken tender meal which they loved and I broke down and ate fries with them!!! Delish!!! Beer selection is great too. I loved the ambiance of the place and decor.. even the bathroom has its North Park, SD stamp on it. Just enjoyed it. The staff last night was great as well. Our server was Dallas, he's new there and from SD so be good to him! Host, a young very presentable and attractive young man was charismatic. We came into Brawley for an event and since we were early we decided to stop in and get something to eat. Being a Saturday afternoon there were only two other parties besides us. We had excellent service from the moment we walked in. The restaurant is clean with an industrial vibe to it. The restroom was immaculate. But the best part was the food! My husband ordered the Inferno burger and I had the Buffalo Chicken Burger which is buffalo chicken strips on the bun. The French fries are handmade and were the best I've had in a long time! Inferno is right! The buffalo wings were spicy and the pizza was served hot! The rustic cheese pizza with pepperoni was unbelievable! The sauce reminded me of my Italian family's sauce. The service was friendly and the staff all looked very professional. All black outfits was a nice touch. This restaurant could open in any big city and give them a run for their money!
