Indy Rooftops, Carl Smith, came to discuss with me about getting a new roof on my house. We went over several questions. He took his time. We got to associate with each other. We told a few stories about things that we have done, got to know him on a personal level, not just a business level. We also went over the different aspects of what would be happening for the roof, what the stages were, and also that he would be taking several pictures to ensure what was or was not happening as they proceeding. They got here very promptly early early morning and was getting things done and proceeding with what Carl said that they would. By the time I was ready to leave at 9:30 they were nearly finished with my roof and it was looking very very good and I was very impressed about the pieces they had around my chimney. Carl took 136 different pictures from the start to the end of the job and I've been able to go through them and see them. I'm excited and happy They came to do my roof. I made a call to Carl Smith at Indy Rooftops to explain the leak I had from my roof. Carl was recommended to me by another person who had a leak which was successfully resolved. I explained to Carl that this was not an emergency but the leak needed tending to. Carl stated that because this is a leak he would get me on his schedule right away. On the scheduled day Carl arrived right on time, actually a little early which I much appreciated. After I showed Carl the issue he said he believed he knew what the problem was and to give him a few minutes to get up on the roof to take a look. Carl found the issue, then shared with me pictures and was thorough in explaining what was causing the leak and what it would take to fix it. Rather than scheduling another time to come out, Carl was able to make the repair the same day. I know all leaks can't be repaired on the same day, but the fact that Carl was willing to take the time, since it was a leak and make the repair is impressive. We just had our roof replaced by Indy Rooftops after meeting with Dan Mackesey for an estimate and working through the process together. Their estimate was very comparable to others and we believe Indy Rooftops offered the best value. Dan was always available to answer our questions. I made the right choice in calling Indy Rooftops and Carl Smith, their representative, was one I would highly recommend. The pilot light wouldn't stay lit on my water heater. The plumber suspected a defective roof vent cap was allowing air to blow it out. I searched for reviews on roofing companies but didn't expect any of them to value such a small project, and certainly not to attend to it quickly. I called Indy Rooftops and got Mitchel, the owner. Carl arrived just hours later, inspected the vent and repaired it by replacing missing sealant in three places (rather than replacing the entire vent as other companies may have done). Carl also walked the roof for other issues and, in an honest assessment, found everything in excellent shape. And the cost of the repair was extremely reasonable. There was a water stain on ceiling above vent pvc pipe. Kudos to Dan and Karl with Indy Rooftops who came out to assess the situation. I already had a quote from a different roofing company come out earlier today and told me the boot around vent pipe needed replaced. He sent me an estimate for work which included new shingles in that area for $575. Here is proof of Dan and Karl's thoroughness at attention to detail and integrity- they said the boot was fine. They climbed in my attic and found the pvc pipe had disconnected from other pvc pipe in attic. He took pics before and after he connected the pipes again. We highly recommend Indy Rooftops. Carl Smith is the person we discussed various points of the process with. We had narrowed it down to two companies and compared product and listened to each one describe what they were going to do and pricing. Carl Smith, was very explicit in details and we liked what he had to say. Carl and the crew arrived at 7am and did not stop except for a 30 min. lunch break. Upon arrival, he listened attentively to my situation and then examined the suspected area of the roof. From experience, he suspected a particular problem and upon further examination, his suspicions paid off. Reached out to get an estimate. Patrick showed up to get measurements and was very professional. Within 2 days had quote. Reached out to accept and schedule. After I signed and put the amount down I was added to schedule. Was sent message on date within 2 more days. Crew showed up I showed them where they were going and they started. It did not take long for them to build seemless gutters and hang them. Crew was nice and professional also. I got exactly what I wanted and the price for material and installation was still better than other quotes for jut material. I did call 2 others that also added install but they were 6 months out. I can't say enough great things about Carl Smith and the crews that installed our new roof. It was almost nineteen years old. It was time for a new one. From when Carl first walked my roof, to the finished product, Carl was above and beyond. Honesty was number one! That is difficult to find these days. He was on the site from start to finish. He took photos through the whole process. He even did some work with the crews. He cares! The clean-up was outstanding. The roof looks fabulous! All that is left is hopefully no leaks. long story short - i was denied a roof replacement (hail and wind damage) by my insurance company. He was very helpful and made the process easy. we scheduled our roof to be replaced. The workers showed up as expected and did a great job. We worked with Carl Smith on our gutter leak issues. He promptly came up with an affordable action plan to repair our issues. However, when the Rooftop team arrived, they noticed the best way to fix the issue was to add a downspout to our house. Initially, we were worried about the extra cost that may incur as this wasn't discovered until the team started working on our roof. Carl spoke to us and stated there would not be any additional cost and he wanted us to be taken care of and was more concerned about the job being taken care of appropriately than charging us extra. We called Indy Rooftop after the bad storm last week. We lost a piece of siding and also wanted the roof inspected.
