Went a couple of weeks ago. When you walk in, you are greeted right away. Stay to your right if you want to try something or get something packed. The menu or offerings are also outside if you want to see what they have and what ingredients are in the concoctions. If you just want some vegan pre-packed stuff, you can just ask at the register on the left instead of waiting for the right side. I got the chai and the orange spice. Both were delicious, but both were also chalky. I would definitely come here again. On another trip, I had the pineapple whip and the apricot. Those two were super good without any downfalls.

Great ice cream. They have 3 vegan options. We tried vegan espresso and non-vegan lavender/honey. Both tasted great and were enjoyable during a hot day.

Would easily and readily recommend stopping here for some ice cream! It was over 90 degrees and about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon when we came by. There wasn't much of a line, and we got to try a couple of flavors before landing on their Black Rock and The Drive Home flavors for our two scoops ($7). We also got a doggy scoop ($1) for our dog, which was a frozen mixture of banana, yogurt, and peanut butter. First, our dog loved his scoop! It was nice to be able to treat him to something tasty and cold, too. We got to chill together on the covered outdoor patio and enjoy our treats! Next, the Black Rock was a nice chocolate ice cream with generous, moist chunks of brownie and chocolate chips. The cinnamon flavor is pretty light - my partner didn't even notice it was in there (he doesn't usually like cinnamon, so that wasn't a bad thing!). The Drive Home was a nice, creamy coffee ice cream. A super tasty, safe choice for coffee-lovers! Overall, the ice cream here is super smooth, creamy, and tasty! The textures and flavors were perfect, though you'll have to enjoy it pretty quickly when you're out in the summer heat (not that that would be difficult lol). The scoops are also pretty decently sized. We'll definitely come back at the next opportunity!

Love this place, it is a must visit!! My family and I always stop here on our way to Tahoe. Great unique flavor combinations all made in house and always sooo good. Owned by the nicest couple who are always so friendly and patient. They source their ingredients locally and even use some of their home grown fruits in their homemade ice cream. They are open Friday-Monday 11am to 7pm. When they're closed, they are making the ice cream for the next week. A nice quiet stop for a sweet treat on your trip!

The location was clean and tidy and the staff were reasonably friendly so that's why it wasn't a 1 star but really that's the only good in this experience. I've had the misfortune of encountering some unpleasant locals from Lone Pine on recent trips, bitter about tourists (who literally provide them with their income and business potential), and after trying most of the restaurants in town, I would be happy to see all of them fail. It's the same business model across the board - mediocre to straight up bad food, crazily overpriced, and zero attempt at service with a smile because if you're there and you're eating and you're not from there, then you're captive and they can deliver whatever they want which is usually minimal effort. The BBQ was $70. For two people. It consisted of two to-go boxes, one with brisket, a baked potato, and some Mac n cheese, the other with brisket & pulled pork, a baked potato & the saltiest baked beans I've ever tasted, two pieces of soggy cornbread, some spicy bbq sauce, butter packets and utensils. The brisket was all fat. The pulled pork had no flavor. The beans tasted like salt, and the bread was soggy. For $70. No drinks, no dessert. We had actually come to Lone Pine this time with a cooler and our own food with zero intention of buying food from the many awful restaurants in town, but after a long hike decided to try the barbecue. What a mistake. I can't wait for private equity to move in and turn Main Street into a strip mall of chain restaurants and hotels. At least then, the food might be worth the money.

Everyday we hiked, we talked about a dessert we had earned, then we'd laugh because there wasn't any around to be easily had. But I knew.... Leaving the park and heading into Three Rivers, there stood an adorable red and white "chalet" of delights where we could have some ice cream next to the dancing waters of the Kaweah River. We entered the ice cream shop, the furthest to the right when viewed from Hwy 198(Sierra Dr.), and were immediately hit with the aroma of their freshly made waffle cones and bowls. After reviewing their in-house made ice cream flavors, my friend opted for Blueberry Pomegranate Gelato and Three Rivers Wild Blackberry in a waffle bowl and I chose the Wild Blackberry and Raspberry Cheesecake for my waffle bowl. We made our way through the gift shop, the furthest building to the left, and out to sit on the covered deck, where 2 red Adirondack chairs waited for us. For me, enjoying an ice cream treat whilst sitting on the back deck overlooking the river is a part of visiting Sequoia. Reimer's opened this flagship location in 1956 and it's a special place where hand made confections, created with the finest ingredients and proudly displayed, are offered alongside delicious ice cream, sherbet and gelato, with seasonal flavors highlighting local fruits, like our wild blackberry this day. The gift shop carries some local items featuring Sierra motifs, in case you need one last souvenir from your trip. Sparkling ornaments and decorations are available all year and add to the happy and festive nature of this classic gem of a roadside stop. The ice cream hit the spot, but the waffle bowl is a true standout. I don't know the secret recipe, but notes of vanilla hit my nose and hints of cinnamon danced on my tongue. SO good! Until next time, Reimer's.... Cheers! "CC"
