The dealer was amicable to our offer and came right down to remove it from their display. We went up the street while they did n came back shortly to find it ready and one of the owners of the mall offered to even give us a blanket to pack it in our vehicle but we were fine. We were also offered to help with loading, but we were fine again. They're friendly in here and have a really broad selection for collectors of every level. But ya gotta dive in ! We know we walked past the screen we bought before but sometimes if you're looking for something in your minds eye, you don't see other things. Yesterday we were looking for chinoiserie and zeroed in right on it.

There is a small selection of items, like a true boutique. You'll find about 3 racks of long and short-sleeved t-shirts, mostly sports and band-related. They also sell a handful of baseball hats and stickers with their 817 Hype branding (not vintage, but really cute)! And then they do sell some vintage hats and shoes, as well. Tons of tapes, records, DVDs, CDs, and VHS tapes. I'm talking shopping bags- plastic, canvas, grocery ones-big, small and in between and I'm a sucker for using these to transport stuff from here to there. Skip forward to my checkout experience. Ehh-could have been better. No "hello" or "how are you" and customer service is a big deal to me. I had quite a few garments to check out- jeans, tops, kids clothes, etc. and my bag of bags. I was taken aback when the young man began putting my items in old used trash bags. Like ones that probably came in with donations in them originally. They were torn in places and honestly gross w hair, dust, grass, paper clips, etc. and they smelled bad. I didn't even want to put them in my car, so I opened my mystery bag of bags and transferred my items into a nice J Crew shopping tote! I couldn't believe how many bags were in this bundle of bags! Smack in the middle of them was a very nice canvas Gucci dust bag. SCORE! Then a Zara one...then a small YSL one. I was shocked. This is what thrifting is all about.
