As a first and definitely last time customer, I'm sincerely disappointed with the treatment I received when arriving to my appointment. I had booked several says in advance and was told that they had plenty of time for a full head of highlights and cut. Granted, I called ahead and said I would be about 10 minutes late due to traffic as I'm traveling from Bay Shore. When I arrived and the receptionist asked me what I was there for, I told her a full highlight and cut, to which she responded "no, we don't have time for that." After several exchanges in which I explained that not only had I booked that type of appointment, but confirmed it twice, she told me that I can book a cut for another time during the week because they simply do not have time. I can understand a miscommunication or misbooking, but to be treated with such animosity was certainly shocking. The stylist, Savannah, was very sweet and tried her best to be accommodating (later on she had a cancellation and a no-show), and would later end up "cutting" my hair. I use quotes here because even though I was only asking for a quick trim she only cut the back of my hair and left the sides untouched. My full head of highlights was only done on half my head, and I wasn't even granted a full blow out so that I could see how the color came out. Not only did the team try to lower my standards for what appointment I had booked, but completely rushed and (pardon my language) half-assed whatever processing was actually being done to my hair. What did it cost me? $165 for a "cut" and color I will now have to get touched up somewhere else. Again, I understand the chaos we currently live in, but as a healthcare worker who has very little time to self-care this way I am beyond upset to have had this experience on one of my only days off. Savannah was very sweet, and I did appreciate how the color came out, but had I known this was the service I'd be getting I would have cancelled all together. It was not worth the money. read more

There is no rating for this salon it may just be the worst I have ever been to. Terrible customer service. I went to this salon thinking I was gonna walk out with a great color an style. It ended with a chemically burned scalp an burnt an broken hair. Not only was I burned by products used she then kept looking at her watch an burnt me even more with the blow dryer. After I left I called an I went back as well, they wanted to correct the damage an redo my hair I gave in an allowed another stylist to redo an it made it worse. I called for a week straight being very nice and leaving messages for the owner Terri Ann to call me back to discuss a refund to be avoided an then after the 4th time of calling then received a call back an she would not let be speak. She was yelling an then a uneducated man, Im thinking her Husband started screaming out of control then proceeding to hang up. I asked to let me finish speaking they obviously can't handle criticism or the truth. Guilt at the next level this proves. It was within my rights to call an speak to the owner to come to a resolution. I spoke very nicely an deserved the same respect back which I did not receive. I asked for refund so I could get it correct elsewhere. They could not do the job. I was not mad at the 2 stylists who actually did the work it was the owner an how she handled the situation. read more

Love love love coming into Industry. The new remodel is absolutely beautiful, and it is always such a wonderful experience! Theresa is the best. Can't wait to get in for my next cut, and hopefully color if I can decide what to do! Haha. Let me just say that I'm very particular on who does my hair especially because it's thick and curly. This use to be salon Nouveau and reinvented with other stylist added with extension and called Industry salon. I've been going here for several years. Staff is amazing, I love my blowouts and hair color. I've used everyone and they are all talented. The place is clean and accommodating! I do go almost weekly especially in the winter for my blowouts and I walk out feeling amazing. Give them a try, you will not regret it! read more

I've been here about 5-6 times to get a wash & blow out. I was referred by a friend & i'm so glad I found this place. They offer $15.00 blow outs!! Unheard of! & they do a fab job. Highly recommend. They are quick & do an amazing job. I'm in & out in about 40 minutes! I haven't tried any of there other services (cuts/dye/etc.) Only blowouts. If you're in a rush & need a great blow out for the weekend, this is the place. Just make sure to tell them over the phone when you book the appointment that you want a $15.00 blow out. read more

Had a great experience!! Nicole did a FANTASTIC job on my hair -- I wanted a balayage with a few different blonde tones to it, and she really nailed it! Im giving this salon a 2 only because one experience i had was good and the other was bad. I went in to get a simple glaze and it came out beautiful. About a year later i wanted to get a balayage/ ombre but with darker hair at the top and a caramel ombre. The girl who did my hair was sweet, however i was charged $300 for hair that looked nothing like the picture i showed. My hair came out blonde instead of caramel, and instead of ombre the lighter parts of my hair went all the way up to my ears. I called back to get it fixed, in which it was a little better. Yet, as i was getting my hair washed, i see another worker with THE EXACT hair coloring as I wanted. It just made me upset because i know they do each others hair in that salon, and it is upsetting that i could not get the same. read more

I have been going here for 4 years and love it! Coming from Brooklyn I tried 3 different salons on Long Island & failed miserably. This was my last stop. I walked in & was immediately greeted & made to feel very comfortable. I see Teriann for color, style and extensions and she never fails me! She super down to Earth. I see Morgan every week for my super amazing blow out! She also does my keratin Treatment which comes out flawless. Morgan is very sweet friendly and make me be fabulous for my week! I frequented the Salon Nouveau in Bellmore for a couple years. They opened this location and it's amazing. So spacious and modern. The staff is so always so friendly and accommodating. There prices are amazing. Great addition to Massapequa. Since there aren't really any upscale modern salons around. read more

I've been coming here since I moved back from Florida in 2017. Salon Nouveau has a positive vibe and all the ladies that work there are always smiling. I've gone to many of the stylists and I am extremely happy with all of them. They make sure you leave the salon happy. The prices here are great and the service makes it even better. She listened to exactly what I said - didn't make it too short or deviate from what I told her, which I really appreciated. The girl who washed my hair did a really thorough job also and was very sweet. I'm giving 4 stars... I was on the fence between 3 and 5, so I settled on 4. Everyone who works there is super nice, friendly, and it was very welcoming. I went for a blow out seeing the $15 sign in the window and it was a last minute emergency. Waited 20 minutes past my appointment time, but they were busy and squeezed me in last minute so I am totally good with that. My blow out looked great when I was sitting in the chair, and then I walked outside into the hot hot hot overly humid summer day that it was and my blow out completely frizzed out, got sticky and all the curls at the bottom fell out. So I had to go home, re blow and then flat iron my hair- super annoying. So now back to the $15 blow out thing, yeah kinda false advertising as I was in the chair mid blow out, they told me that the girl I had charged $25 for blow outs. Ok, fine $10 isn't the end of the world, but would have been nice to know before I got into the chair. Probably will go back, maybe on a less humid day. read more

I really really wanted to like this salon... I came here after a recommendation from a co-worker who comes here often. Unfortunately the older woman at the front desk is very rude and cannot be bothered and that was not really the way i wanted to start my experience. I was then taken back to have my hair colored and the stylist(Terri Ann) was finishing with another client so I waited about 25 minutes. When she finally came over, she was nice and I thought she understood what I wanted but unfortunately 4 hours later I was still not very happy. I was also charged additionally for a glaze which I have never had to pay at my usual salon(was also NOT told about this charge ahead of time, nor was I even asked if I wanted a glaze). Unfortunately I'm on the fence about having them fix my hair or not. I was told $145 (but was charged $165 on my billing statement) so I think it should have been better, I'm sorry that I was unhappy because I know people who were happy there.... I was looking for a new place to get my highlights/cuts when I got a coupon for this salon. I saw the other reviews and figured I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! Not only did Theresa listen to what I wanted in terms of color, but she was very pleasant and professional and explained why I had the problem with white colored highlights in the past (when what I want are golden highlights). She took the foils and bleach off at different times to get uniform color with no over-bleaching and the result was really great. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive (everyone offered me coffee!) and the salon itself is beautiful and spacious, and CLEAN. I would highly recommend this salon and for sure I will be returning! I had a great experience there today! read more

I walked into this salon on a Thursday wanted a single process, cut, and blow done immediately( this was at 5pm and I had a client meeting at 7:30). Not only did they accommodate me, my colorist/stylist was absolutely AMAZING! I returned Sunday to have highlights and Keratin. I do not normally take the time to write a review but I came across a young lady who is beyond meticulous and truly cares about her work and is a complete pleasure to be around.
