I went to Indulgence on a groupon-like deal for a pedicure and had to say that I was a little bit unimpressed. The salon itself is in the far south end of the city (not that I'm complaining - I live downtown, so anything out of the core seems like a lot of driving) in a little neighborhood strip mall. On the outside, it looks completely unassuming (and even a little shady) but the inside is plain, but nice and clean. I walked in 10 minutes early for my appointment and ended up waiting almost half an hour to get seated in the chair. They keep their pedicure stations in a small private room (with a manicure table) and it was just me and the pedicurist in there, so very quiet and a little bit awkward at times. The pedicurist knew what she was doing, but she lectured me for at least 20 minutes on how I cut my toenails, how I take care of my feet, how often I moisturize my skin, and then tried sell me on her knowledge of natropath beauty knowledge. It was a little bit exhausting and sort of insulting. Booking my appointment was a little bit tricky - I ended up emailing in to get an appointment and had a hard time due to their hours. Being someone who works 8 - 5 everyday, their open hours were very limiting and weekend appointments were seemingly months away. Judging from the fact that they only had two pedicure chairs in the spa, I'm going to assume it's because it's a small place with only a handful of staff members. I have had pedicures at spas across the city and can't say that Indulgence offered anything that stood out or made me want to return. If you live in the neighborhood, I can see perhaps being a regular. But if not, keep driving, you have better options. read more

Not sure why this review is being removed from YELP - it is an honest review, and I have been a customer for over 3 years, and coworkers who also support Indulgence Massage & Esthetics. This review is completely legitimate and accurate from MY perspective: This place is a hidden gem! Incredibly clean, pricing is AWESOME, especially when you consider the RMT gives you the FULL time massaging you, and takes the extra time for the pre and post meeting. I was very annoyed at various other establishments that would only give 50 to 55 minutes (that's 10% taken directly off my back at a minimum, yet I pay full price?? Why...YES, I do watch my money), and SO happy to learn Loan and her team give the full time. Kyra is by far my favorite therapist, however if she is too busy (which is often the case), I happily make my booking with anyone else they have - I have never been disappointed. read more

I went to Indulgence with a Groupon and little expectations, it was about a year and a half ago now. I haven't had many positive experiences with Groupon hence the low expectations. I've NEVER had such a magnificent job done. I was totally pampered, the owner of this shop did my pedicure and she's an amazing lady. She has wonderful people skills, she knows what she is doing and I've sent others to see her and they come back with the same impressions I have of her. If you have ingrown toenails, which I'm learning is a very common condition, definitely book in to this shop and they will show you how to care for your nails, if you just want to be pampered I highly recommend this shop. I will add that I've been for a massage here as well, the lady was new and she didn't do a good job at all. I discussed this with the owner and told her that I was not impressed, I didn't get my full hour and the owner waived the fees. The shop is on the south side, I'm on the south side so it totally works for me. I will say that if I move anywhere else in the city I would drive across the city to have my pedicures, that's how impressed I am. read more

We booked a couple's massage through their, very easy to use, online booking system. As this place is newer, there were lots of bookings available. There's a parking lot outside that is shared with several other adjacent businesses. It is a very establishment and the decor and staff were quite welcoming. We were greeted at the door and filled out a short form before we were led into our room. Both my husband and i had a great massage with each of our therapists. They were attentive and ensured that we were satisfied with the amount of pressure. They both seemed quite skilled and we felt very relaxed after our massage. Prices are decent; less on average than most other massage places. We plan to come back for another massage very soon!

I live in Hillview, so this place is a 20-minute walk for me. I have started recommending it to my neighbours and friends as the staff are professional and welcoming. I have only gone there for massage. They do direct billing, and are conscientious about calling with reminders. The massage therapists make a sincere effort to not only give you a good massage, but take notes afterwards to make your next experience even better. The owner of the place is very friendly and polite, and the business is tastefully decorated and relaxing - a surprise for a business tucked between a pub and a reddi mart in the local strip mall! I don't know why Yelp is hiding all of the other positive reviews, but I mean it when I say that this place is one of the best in town. read more

I initially went there about 2 ingrown toenails that have been giving me grief and the whole experience was educational and the instructions I recieved have helped me manage them myself. The Oil and Gas Industry is not friendly to alot of us and my work entails long days with computer and microscope work, so this combined with a wonky C3 - C4 I get run down with neck and shoulder pain and sometimes painful headachs. The massage has helped alot and is very good with their attention to proper pressure and care with painfull areas. Sometimes I have had to wait 5 mins or so but I see the personal attention that they give to their clients and very busy at times so I dont mind. I have always found the staff excellent and the business is clean and neat. read more

This was BY FAR the best pedicure I have ever received. I live north of the city but this is a trek worth making. The area is a little shady but I was wearing my big-girl pants and made it to my car safely. This is a family owned operation. The lady who did my feet was the mother of the duo and she was great. She was not shy about touching my feet. She got in there, down and dirty, and cleaned them up beautifully. They were as soft as a baby's bottom upon my departure. She did, however, take her time so I felt bad for the next person who had to wait an extra 10 or 20 minutes. But she did a nice job and I haven't a negative things to say. Anyone can paint a toe nail but not everywhere will give you a proper pedicure. read more

I had a very difficult time choosing which salon I wanted to have my facial at. There are so many around in edmonton and I still took my chance to try this new place in Millwoods. I was so happy I did! The esthetician never stopped working on me, in some manner, for the entire time I was with her. She was either massaging my hands and arms or sholders while the creams were doing their magic. I have had many facials but nothing like this. I would have to say it was probably one of the best facial I've ever had. My skin looks so even and smooth. it looks and feels completely different then it did when I came in. read more

I've been to many massage therapists. At Indulgence Massage I have always had a fantastic massage no matter who my therapist was. It is a bit of a drive for me but I will continue to come back. It is simple yet I am there for the massage and time to relax. They are always courteous and friendly. I always get my hour and they always assess before and after my massage. There are a lot of options out there but if you find a place that treats you wonderful every time, I will keep coming back! read more

I have been going to Loann for massage for the past 3 years and I have to say she is really the best. She really cares about the wellbeing of her customers and treats them like they are a part of her family. Her massages are amazing, she is the only one that can really relax me and get the knots out of my neck. I have several friends and family that go to see her now and they say the exact same things about her. The location is far from where I live but it is definetely worth it. read more

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful two hours at Indulgence Massage & Esthetics Spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. When we arrived we were personally welcomed at the door and given 2 mugs of apple tea while we sat in front of a lovely fire. The staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. This spa offers a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and friendly. My pedicure and manicure was absolutely fabulous!!! I received compliments the whole week..A rejuvenating treatment that included reflexology that de stressed my whole body. It's been 2 days since i got my first wax done at the wax spa. I must admit that it was great. Esthetician was honest enough to tell me that for my first wax ever, i should start with bikini even though i wanted the brazilian done (all hairs gone!). The Facial I recieved at the Salon last week was amazing...it included a really good face, neck and shoulder massage....as well as the normal cleansing and facial routine....I really see improvement on my skin. This is honestly Edmonton's hidden gem! I went there one day for a massage after a friend had recommended it to me and I am so glad that I did. The place is small but very relaxed.
