I have had massages at other locations and this one for sure stacks up. While the waiting room is a little small considering how busy they were that's a great complaint to have. There was a constant flow of people booked for what I can assume all the different services they offer. Everything from reflexology to Thai massage. There was mention of acupuncture, cupping and aromatherapy as well. I noticed several different therapy areas that would confirm the different services offered. High backed recliners for reflexology and low lying floor beds for Thai massage treatments. The front desk attendant was very pleasant and welcoming including offering flip-flops to wear to and from our room. The therapists were both extremely attentive and took time to ask if everything was OK during treatment. Upon departure the extra bonus was direct billing. There is plenty of parking and other services nearby that would make the trip even more convenient since it is close to the Hwy and 17th St. I will use them again to try other services.

The salon itself is in the far south end of the city (not that I'm complaining - I live downtown, so anything out of the core seems like a lot of driving) in a little neighborhood strip mall. On the outside, it looks completely unassuming (and even a little shady) but the inside is plain, but nice and clean. I walked in 10 minutes early for my appointment and ended up waiting almost half an hour to get seated in the chair. They keep their pedicure stations in a small private room (with a manicure table) and it was just me and the pedicurist in there, so very quiet and a little bit awkward at times. The pedicurist knew what she was doing, but she lectured me for at least 20 minutes on how I cut my toenails, how I take care of my feet, how often I moisturize my skin, and then tried sell me on her knowledge of natropath beauty knowledge. It was a little bit exhausting and sort of insulting. Booking my appointment was a little bit tricky - I ended up emailing in to get an appointment and had a hard time due to their hours. Being someone who works 8 - 5 everyday, their open hours were very limiting and weekend appointments were seemingly months away. Judging from the fact that they only had two pedicure chairs in the spa, I'm going to assume it's because it's a small place with only a handful of staff members. I have had pedicures at spas across the city and can't say that Indulgence offered anything that stood out or made me want to return. If you live in the neighborhood, I can see perhaps being a regular. But if not, keep driving, you have better options.

This review is completely legitimate and accurate from MY perspective: This place is a hidden gem! Incredibly clean, pricing is AWESOME, especially when you consider the RMT gives you the FULL time massaging you, and takes the extra time for the pre and post meeting. I was very annoyed at various other establishments that would only give 50 to 55 minutes (that's 10% taken directly off my back at a minimum, yet I pay full price?? Why...YES, I do watch my money), and SO happy to learn Loan and her team give the full time. Kyra is by far my favorite therapist, however if she is too busy (which is often the case), I happily make my booking with anyone else they have - I have never been disappointed.
