In my last visit to a bigger chain nearly 3 months earlier, and they quoted me with a bunch of work that "all" needed to be done that would cost me well over $3k. Decided to give this place a shot, as it's down the street from my place and heard great reviews on Yelp. Jay was great and did a great job breaking everything down and reviewing next steps of what I could expect. After reviewing everything and taking my needs into account, he saves us over $1500 compared to what the big mechanic shop would charge us. That felt insane to me, so I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Auto Technik instead. I am SO glad I did. I first reached out to them through Yelp, then hopped on a phone call with them, and they were able to take my car in the very next day. After diagnosing it, we were all pretty shocked to find out that what the Toyota dealership said needed to be repaired had actually been misdiagnosed. Jay was able to figure out what was really going on simply by plugging into the car and properly reading the diagnostics. We were honestly appalled that the Toyota dealership hadn't caught it in the first place. So instead of spending $7,500 at the dealership and most likely STILL not fixing the actual problem, Auto Technik was able to properly diagnose and fix my Sequoia for around $1,500. Aside from saving me a ton of money, everyone here was just so nice and communicative with me throughout the entire process. I felt like they were honest with me, explained what was going on, and genuinely wanted to make sure the actual problem was fixed. I'm seriously so appreciative of Jay and everyone at Auto Technik. After this experience, I'm really glad I found a shop I feel like I can trust with my car. I wish them nothing but continued success!

This place tried to scam me out of $300 dollars today…read more I picked up my car from an inspection for a potential gas leak on Friday. They told me nothing was wrong with it. I drive and I notice my passenger window is not working. It was working before, so I assumed it was some sensor or wiring that got messed up in the inspection. The auto repair shop was already closing so I decided okay I will catch them on Monday or Tuesday. Today I went in and they didn't even look at the wiring. Just said "no its going to be $300 to repair the mechanical parts of the door for the window". "This wasn't caused by the inspection". I drove back home today and found out they put the auto-lock on my doors. I didn't even notice cause I never had them on. Regardless of my mistake, the fact that they wanted to take advantage of me is disgusting and that gas smell is still happening.

This is still being driven as my daily driver so I needed quick and expedited work. I contacted Mike on Friday and he said he had an opening for the following Monday, which was perfect with this speedy response. Mike communicated, on the Monday, that he was on the way. When he arrived I discussed the issue I wanted taken care of and he got straight to work sourcing parts and their prices. Within the span of 5 minutes he broke down the parts prices and his labor cost, which was well worth it for a mobile mechanic. He also told me it would be done today. Mike started at 9 am and finished around 12:30ish. He replaced my leaking water pump, belts, coolant, thermostat, and a tensioner. When it came time to pay he even told me the price lowered due to reusing the coolant. Of course I paid him the initial stated price. His honesty was well worth the full price and more. I am more than happy with Mike and his friendly service. He communicated every step of the repairs with pictures of bad parts and new parts. I locked Mike in my phone for future work that may need to be done. I recommend and will continue to hire Mike for all my vehicle service needs.
