This is an update to my initial review since I had my UV light installed this morning. Colton was my technician again, and I'm so glad he was able to return. He had the UV light up and running within 30 minutes, showed me where he installed it and provided any necessary details, and within a few hours, I could tell a difference in air quality. He said within a few weeks, the entire house will be treated, and anything that was growing in the air ducts or on the filters (besides routine dust) will get zapped. Once again, ICE provided excellent service and kept a happy customer satisfied. read more

Never get service from Indoor comfort experts, warranty had them service and came out 3 times still didn't fix AC. All they were doing was getting by to keep collecting money from warranty Co it seems because kept fixing and guessing and lied at the end of what was wrong with the ac I waited a whole month & 1/2 because never fixed and between appointments. This is a horrible company with horrible customer service from the Supervisor up to the alleged Owner. I repeatedly told these guys the issue I was having and was ignored. I then tried to lower the temperature before they left and was told to leave it alone because it will mess up, "give it a minute to cool." They leave, I walk out 30 minutes later and the whole fan system was locked up, hot and humming. Why would they not at least let it cool by 3 degrees before leaving like any other legitimate company that has been out to service my ACs? Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I have added them to my AHS Warranty do not call/use list for my homes. I have requested that AHS review their mostly poor yelp reviews and not send them out to any of their customers. read more

Worst company ever! Told us lies every day ! Left us in 100 degree weather with no ac for 3 weeks with a it's going to be Tomm we promise ...everyday at end of the day same story ! Dropped the ball on it all and wanted to blame the home warranty as they always do judging from the other reviews! Then after 3 weeks of me and my kids sitting in a hot house with 100 plus degree texas weather ‍ of course I'm upset anyone would be ...I say to them of course your happy ..you go home to ac every night ...they immediately started screaming at me you don't know what I go home to at night women ‍ save yourself the time and heartache go somewhere else because you will stay hot and be treated like trash here! I wish o would have the reviews before agreeing to do business with this crazy company! Lol so many put in the same situation as me and the owners reasoning is we are rude ! No way everyone is rude and you're right! but hey do what you need to if it helps You lay your head down at night while your customers and their family's are strung along by you and your "company" for weeks to suffer in this heat! read more

Absolutely horrible. Technician was rude along with dispatch at the company. A call was supposed to have been made to me 30 minutes prior to arriving....it wasn't. The technician told me he had already been driving for 25 minutes to get to my house so he wasn't going to be able to wait for me to arrive. He then communicated to dispatch that I missed my appointment. They backed him and told me it would be the following week before I could be rescheduled. Then they would not release contract so that American Home Shield could reassign the job to another company. read more

Technicians were out to my house twice to fix an AC issue which ultimately they said was my fault for negligence as a homeowner for not maintaining my air conditioner like I should. This was on there 2nd visit with myself. The first time they were out my wife was home they showed up looked at the compressor out side which was frozen then rudely told my wife she was informed by there office staff to turn the unit off 6 hrs before they arrived which they did not inform her of. The 2nd time they came I was present, I met the technician at the gate to let them in as I have pets in the yard. I asked him if he wanted to pull in he agreed. After they pulled in I closed and latch the gate again they were late and I was last call of the day. The young man laid on the floor to a pic of the coil with his cell phone then showed me the pic and said it's not working because you coil is filthy with dirt and dog hair although he didn't expose the coil from front panel to actually put eyes on it. Total he was probably here not 10 mins. I walked him out to his truck then opened the gate so he and a woman who remained in the truck could back out. Then I latched the gate back. Fyi there are no locks on the gate just a latch. When I pulled the front panel off after they left to inspect it myself it was not that dirty. It had sucked the filter up on to the coil. All that being said, I tried explaining on their 2nd visit the problem I'm having is with the thermostat not working. They left the call again with AC still not working properly. After several more days in the heat I had my wife call to see what's up. The secretary informed her they would be out the next day between 2 and 4 . On 9/19 1:56 pm Crystal called and said we we're 2nd on the list. At 4:56pm the wife called to check status and spoke with the owner William who informed her we had been put on a do not service list because of they felt unsafe in my yard because I locked them inside the gate, there are no locks on my gate. They also mentioned because we gave them a bad review and my personal habits which is not there business in my opinion. They refused to service us. Yet wouldn't extend the courtesy to let us know that after waiting all day for them to arrive. read more

I have had Indoor Comfort Experts come out from Home Warranty claims in the past, and with a great past experience I had them come out today when I had AC issues. They were able to come out in less than 3 hours after I called, and had my AC Blowing strong and cold less than an hour later. I have dealt with the dispatch, technicians, and the owner. They have all had great customer service and strive to get your AC fixed without it breaking the bank, but doing the job right. I've dealt with a handful of AC companies in the past year and I couldn't recommend Indoor Comfort Expert enough, don't let the negative reviews deter you from using them. read more

I have been a long time customer of ICE. This is a wonderful family operation whose professionalism and integrity has been unmatched since I have come to know them. My recent experience confirms that fact. I bought a new Rheem unit from them which unfortunately had a defective device. They worked very hard to secure a replacement component to fix my new AC. As this component was under warranty they came out several times at no cost to me to see that I was entirely satisfied with the correction. I would not hesitate to recommend their A/C services now and in the future. They are a top-notch operation and I have always been extremely satisfied doing business with them. G. Service was OK but the technician was very condescending and talked to me like I was ignorant. After I explained I had 30 years of experience in facility management including HVAC, he changed his tune, but damage was already done. Won't be calling them again. Stay away!! I believe they falsified information provided to AHS to give them a bigger job and it created a nightmare for me. In fact, they diagnosed the wrong unit in my attic that didn't even match up to the one they found trouble with outside. Owner called me and was extremely rude and blamed me for the problem. There are plenty of other HVAC companies around, so do yourself a favor. The other reviews tell a similar story. Don't fall for all of the values and faith based section on their website. read more

Probably the worst service I've ever received from a repair company. My warranty contacted them for an ac issue. (Scheduled a day in advance from 8-12PM) waited all day for the tech to arrive and once he did arrive 12:20-12:30PM he decided to leave. I called the tech immediately and requested him to please come back and his response was " well you'll need to reschedule!" But he was late ? Then I decided I'd call the actual company - hoping we could resolve the issue... and the assistant starts yelling at me, saying "they have family and NO THEY DONT GET PAID FOR UNDER WARRANTY CUSTOMERS" AND HANGS UP ON ME! Wow! Mind you this all happened before 1PM! read more

Warranty A/C replacement. I was charged $375 for a "special concrete pad that confirms to the condenser unit" that was not installed. I realized this 3 days later that nothing was done and they installed the unit on the existing slab and it fits fine. I reach out to the owner, an hour later he says it's on backorder. My issues: 1) the customer shouldn't have to discover that the job is incomplete. If I had not been on my knees clearing that flower bed I would not have noticed. 2)If all parts are not available before the install date the customer should know. 3) There were opportunities during and immediately after the install to communicate this. 4) If this is a necessary component, why was the install done without it? This pad was not covered by warranty and money went directly to Indoor Comfort Experts. They will not issue the refund for the services they did not render and say I need to schedule them to install. read more

Worse AC company I've ever experienced. The Young Caucasian man came in my home and immediately start saying my home with Cold and all this other stuff. I was going over the details of the leak in my home and he just kept cutting me off and saying what he didn't like or would he know it is or what he couldn't do. I was getting upset because I've been dealing with this situation for quite some time and paying different co-pays. So we went upstairs so he can look at the drip pan leak and he kept saying that it was too cold and I need a battery. I need to cut him off because I was agitated that he's not listening to my concerns as a customer and told him I will deal with that later we need to control the leak and he kept talking about other stuff. He got snappy in my Home and I politely told him to get the hell out of my house he was only here for eight minutes and all of this happened. I told him with everything going on in the world today this is how a situation can happen in people homes. He had another young man with him but He was much calmer than both of us speaking so I have no complaints on him. However when I kicked him out of my whole worst was exchange and he cussed me out I called his company and they told me that he told him that I was gonna shoot him with a gun. He totally took my words and twist it around for his own purposes. I'm lost for words right now because as a single mother I can't believe that this has happened to me in my home and my worst was twist around And I definitely didn't take a gun out on him when he was only in my home for eight minutes. Long story short his company called the police and so did I because if he was leaving he said fuck you and I have not seen the last of him. read more

Whats worse than anything is that they reported back to warranty company that I attempted to clean condensate lines and I caused damage with water which is complete lie. Then call them and they make every excuse in the book and I call him out on it and he tells me if I don't like it to call my home warranty company. read more

We had a horrible experience with Indoor Comfort Experts. Our home warranty sent them out for AC service. They tried to clear a clogged pipe but couldn't. They said we needed to call a plumber which was fair. However they did not seal the pipe properly and water started leaking through the ceiling. We called William at ICE and he said there was nothing they could do. We explained that his technician did not properly seal the pipe which caused the leak. He then hung up on me. I called back because I needed someone to come back and reseal the pipe correctly. He said there was nothing he could do, that the leak wasn't their fault and hung up again. So now we are stuck with no AC on a 100 degree day. All he had to do was apologize and send someone out. It may have taken 10 minutes to seal it correctly. read more

Can't say enough good things about these guys. AC was out. I called after hours. They were swamped, but said they would be out first thing AM. 8:30 right off. Listened to the symptoms, got right in and fixed the issues. Extremely polite, professional and expoditious. Definitely have them back for seasonal tune ups and any repairs in the future.
