From the very first response to my inquiry seeking care, they have been an amazing wealth of knowledge and compassion as I navigate my complicated health situation. Every interaction I have had with the staff has been positive. The office space is beautiful and has a welcoming, comfortable vibe. I first came to Indigo following my most recent surgeries for Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and Retroperitoneal Fibrosis. I have been working with Dr. Patricia Hays for the the last 4 months. She has been hugely helpful in getting me through my recent complicated surgery recovery, addressing the symptoms that were not addressed in my surgeries, helping me gain control of the long standing joint issues I have had, and exploring a safe exercise protocol for hEDS. She shows me exercises in person, making sure that I am performing them with proper technique and alignment, then sends followup emails with details and photos for my at home work. She delivers explanations in a way that is easy to understand, welcomes questions and feedback, and is so helpful in creating modifications when necessary. She has also provided me with more learning resources I can refer to outside of sessions to better inform myself and understand my body. She has sent me book and podcast recommendations and is always open to talking about my experiences with them and hearing about any additional resources I happened to stumble upon. She diligently follows up with me every session, asking for updates on the exercises, my symptoms, feedback from my doctors, and checks in about how getting back to playing the flute has been. My recovery has been a long process, but I am making a lot of progress because I have an amazing support system in Dr. Trish. I can't wait to see how things progress in the coming months! read more

Words cannot express how greatful I am that I found Indigo Physiotherapy! I had a very traumatic birth experience, which included an emergency c-section. The aftermath was me being afraid of my own body and not quite sure how to put the pieces back together. I was referred to see Jessie for massage therapy to help me break up my scar tissue. And what I got was so much more! I have been working with both Jessie for massage therapy and Dr. Sam for some pelvic floor issues for the past three months and I feel like a new person. My favorite part of my week/month is hands down when I get to see these ladies. I went in feeling broken and afraid, and leave feeling empowered and so thankful that I have caring professionals to guide me through the post-partum process. Before going to Indigo, I had no idea about the type of post-partum care that women need. I wish that more people knew about these health care services prior to giving birth. Indigo Physiotherapy was a healing + safe haven for me postpartum. After a traumatic delivery + newborn stage, Austin supported us with CranioSacral Therapy for our daughter. This was very helpful for our breastfeeding journey and pre/post frenectomy. Austin provided tools/resources and compassion, all of which were extremely needed as a first time mom. I visited Dr. Sam during pregnancy and postpartum. Again, after a traumatic delivery and newborn stage, she provided amazing care, empathy and space when I needed it most. I received so many tools/resources to support my postpartum recovery, including recommendations to other providers that accelerated my recovery process. Jessie is an amazing massage therapist who takes the time to understand and customize care. I felt very comfortable and appreciated how she thoughtful she was concerning postpartum needs! read more

I went to Sam for help dealing with the effects of radiation to my pelvis after being treated for rectal cancer. I had gone to another physical therapist and found the environment to be way too clinical for me, and my emotional needs around the healing I needed were not addressed at all, despite my calling attention to them. Sam's practice was exactly what I was looking for- a supportive and calming environment, the treatment I needed, and MUCH better advice and direction than what I had been receiving. I continue my pelvic treatment with her, and am progressing well, but will continue to work with her beyond that on my scars from surgery and building strength back in my abdomen to help avoid hernias in the future, and to get back to my normal self! read more

Dr. Sarah is an amazing doctor!! I am blessed to have found her. I had difficulty getting through a complete gynecological exam. She listened carefully to my past experiences and concerns and worked with me to come up with a plan. I appreciate that she pushed me to challenge myself but at the same was flexible in adjusting the plan when necessary. Dr. Sarah was patient and kind throughout the entire process. I learned a lot from her about pelvic floor therapy and how it connects to my overall health. It was a very enlightening experience. As a result, I recently had a successful gynecological exam. I highly recommend Dr. Sarah, especially to anyone that is experiencing difficulty in getting through a gynecological exam. read more

Highly recommend Indigo Physicotherapy! Dr. Sam is kind, thoughtful, and conscientious. Her approach makes you feel in control and well cared for. I started treatment with Indigo about 7 weeks postpartum after my second delivery that resulted in tearing. I felt nervous going into my first session, but she made me feel comfortable really quickly and confident that she could help. After just a few months I feel back to health without the need for expensive or invasive surgical procedures. It's sort of weird to rate your pelvic physical therapist, but since I've already told everyone I know about her, this seems within reason. First, you're treated like a person, and your thoughts/opinions/preferences are entirely validated. Not the standard experience with medical care. Second, Sam is a gem. She's compassionate, kind, competent - what else can you ask for? And perhaps best of all - my gyn wanted to do exploratory surgery. Sam corrected the problem in about 4 visits. While being extremely mindful of expense, providing me with PT exercises and gaps in treatment to make sure I was only seeing her where necessary. read more

Honestly, every medical professional should be this great. I would recommend Sam to anyone who needs pelvic PT, and anyone postpartum. She listens thoughtfully and explains issues that can be intimidating and confusing in a way that is kind and clear. She's also just a pro. Knows her stuff and isn't interested in wasting your time or money. The office is a relaxing space. It doesn't feel clinical or uncomfortable. She keeps track of the time and does run over, so your appointment time is a real time. She is also great about providing all the necessary paperwork for reimbursement. Dr. Sarah was so kind, helpful, and informative! I honestly did not know what to expect from physical therapy, and I almost never write reviews. I have been telling many friends and even family members about my experience with Dr. Sarah and Indigo Physiotherapy though because it was so positive. Dr. Sarah helped me with the issue I presented with and also gave me insight into how my body functions in general. For a variety of reasons, going to physical therapy made me uncomfortable. I started seeing Jessie after my second c section and she supported me in so many ways which eventually led me to physical therapy with Kristen and craniosacral therapy with Austin. They have each helped me so much. All three of my children see Austin and having her support for them and for me as I navigate parenting has been an absolute blessing. While my son received services at Indigo, we followed their recommendations and I observed many positive changes with his therapy.
