    Paneer tikka bowl
    Sheena R.

Today was my first time at Indigo Kitchen at the Commons. I tried the paneer tikka rice bowl and it was very flavorful. The paneer was grilled first which added depth to the dish. I enjoyed the pickled onions and sauces on the side. The side of naan was a delicious addition. A friend ordered the pork sliders and tikka bowl and they said it was delicious as well! They will text you when your order is ready. You can sit outside while you wait for your food and enjoy the nice weather. I look forward to trying more items from their menu.

The wings are delicious. I would love to give us a five star review because they were so good! The only problem I have is that I like sauce, and by the way they're homemade ranch garlic sauce is very good, but it is not enough as it comes in a small little container so I had to order more. To my surprise, they wanted to charge me an extra dollar, which isn't that much but because I'm paying about $15 for seven wings, do you think they wouldn't be so stingy about the sauce. But if you don't care about having much to dip your wings in, then I would readjust my rating to a five.

Definitely different from local offerings. Food seemed to be a mix of Mexican/Indian. Outside seating and bathrooms. I would return, with friends to chill with beers in hand next time.

$33 worth of food including the handcrafted beverages. It was good though.

Very good food. A little overpriced in my opinion considering that you don't get table service but what we ordered was delicious, tasted like good quality and fresh ingredients and was also nicely presented. I'm a little surprised though that they hand you their beverages in plastic pouches with plastic straws. Where is the environment friendly aspect with this?

Yum! Generous portions and delicious food!! It was so hard trying to decide what to get! I HAD to get the butter chicken. I love butter chicken! Food was generous and there was a lot of chicken in it. My husband got the banging samosas. The display was beautiful. He also got two phat rolls. He thought they seemed small at first but once he started eating them he can tell they were pretty filling. I want to try the wings and the chicken tikka next time!

    The entrance to the Grainyard

After a day of running around the upstate SC foothills, be sure to explore some of the surrounding mountain towns. In the town of Easely, there is a restaurant cooperative called the Grainyard. An open air courtyard surrounded by railcars that were converted i to eateries. Indigo Kitchen is the busiest location, for good reason. I had a Chicken Tikka bowl, and Corn Bhel. The drink i had was the indigo limeade. The food was fresh and delicious, and was delivered very quickly. It was clear that i ordered too much. I left quite full and satisfied. Highly recommend this place for the food and the ambience. Be sure to stay around for the live music.

Got the sliders and the chaat bombs app with a Taj Mahal lager. Deeeelicious!

At the silos. Self service. Food was great. Service was fast. Communal atmosphere.laid back atmosphere. Microbrewery and several restaurants in old railroad cars for food trucks.

    Pick 3

This was my first time trying Indian cuisine, I wanted to sample the most requested item. So I order the pick 3 the chicken tikka, Malai chicken and masala steak. The steak was my favorite. The girl taking my order was nice and helpful with me pick my order. It is a little on the expensive side but I wanted something different. I would come back and try something else

The goat finishes and then all you are left with is the gravy. We also came for dinner with some friends on a week night and ordered Goat Curry and were surprised when the bowl in which it was served had 4 - 5 pieces of Goat in it. Their food is tasty and they are trying but if you are trying to stint on items that draw people in - you are not going to last very long. There are children running around and can be a nuisance when you are trying to enjoy a meal with your friends / family

They offer salad, vegetarian dishes, meat, chai, lassi, desserts and dosa. The tables were crisp and the service was attentive. There's QC issues in cleaning their plates fully clean but most of them are clean. The buffet line starts with vegetarian dishes and they're all legit. The paneer is probably the best in all of the buffets in Gvegas. Nice, thick, and soft. I would honestly go back just for that. They do veggie stir fry here which no other buffet really does. The naan is superb for buffet naan. All their meat is halal! For some reason, their chicken tikka is called chicken kebab and their labeled chicken tikka is chicken tikka wings. Fire either way. Their lamb and legit but pungently lamby. As part of the buffet, they offer dosa. Use the peanut chutney with it. Don't be a bozo like me who missed the dessert section of the buffet. And the lassi and chai.

Y'all. We eat at a lot of Indian restaurants and at this point, it's difficult to stand out. When…read moreI tell you Persis stood out, believe me. We were in Greenville for the week on vacation. We had already had "okay" Indian delivery from another place in town on Monday. My wife was shopping at a store in the plaza, so I decided to go check Persis out rather than wait outside a dressing room. Saw they had Masala Dosa on the menu and promptly forgot which store my wife was in. The masala dosa was amazing. Crisp on the ends, good flavor, the masala in the middle was just spicy enough and nicely done. The tomato chutney had nice spice, and the coconut chutney was good also. The sambar was probably the best I've had in my life. I probably would have fought you for it. The lady managing the place was outgoing and welcoming and chatted me up while I was there. She heard we were traveling and told us we should come back on Friday for the buffet. Unlimited dosa? I ain't dumb. We went back two days later as instructed. The buffet was large and had a great selection of veg and non-veg selections, as well as a dosa station. Here are my highlights: Tawa Vegetables- basically griddled seasoned veg mix. These were a stand out item for us. Simple veg but done really well. Eggplant with green chilis - this was suggested to be spicy, but I didn't find it to be so, and I'm a bit of a weenie. It had good flavor, and Baingan Bharta is my all time favorite, so it was fun to try a different yet similar dish. Veg Biryani - light and well cooked. I enjoyed it very much. Butter Chicken - Y'all, this might be the first time in my life I've seen someone make butter chicken with texture and richness to this level. When they say it's their signature dish, I understand why. The chicken was grilled and had *actual* char marks, giving it actual texture and flavor. The curry tasted amazing and had so much butter that it was richer than Jeff Bezos. I almost couldn't finish it because it was so rich, but Mama didn't raise a quitter. 10/10, would eat again right now. There was a fish dish that I didn't try and a Chana Saag I just never made room for. There were many choices across a wide swath of foods and flavors. The Chai they had was also excellent. Apparently they make their own Chai Masala rather than a mix. The staff was friendly and checked on us many times. Overall, 10/10 and would go back to Greenville just to eat here again.

It makes me think that it's a cost cutting measure and they're trying to dupe their customers. Service was non existent because of another cost cutting measure: 1 waiter.
