I came across a picture from Indigo Kitchen a couple of months ago and knew I had to go when I was in the area. It is located at The Silos in downtown Easley. There are multiple food options there, tons of seating and live music was playing when we went. I ordered the tikka masala bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the chicken was hot. When you order, they take your number and text you when it is ready. I loved that bc it gave us a chance to go find a table and run to the restroom. I would definitely eat here again when I'm back up in Easley. read more

First time eating at Indigo Kitchen so I was not familiar with any of the food. You order at window and they ask for your cell number and text when food is ready. I got a Mango Lassi to drink. Not really sure what was in it....mango and maybe yogurt. It was good but would have preferred more of a mango taste. I got Malai Chicken bowl. Chicken was delicious. I loved the flavors. Rice was good...way more than I could eat. Would have liked more cucumber in bowl. The naan bread was warm and soft. A band was playing in the common area of the Silos. I had the Paneer Tikka Rice Bowl and it was the bomb.com! I don't have anything bad to say about this dish. Chicken was flavorful. Also had the chicken wings and they were not much of a hit for my family. My husband swore they were supposed to be smoked. I thought they were roasted. Either way, they were not that good, but it's really a matter of preference. The young lady working up front was so helpful! She deserves a raise. Today was my first time at Indigo Kitchen at the Commons. I tried the paneer tikka rice bowl and it was very flavorful. The paneer was grilled first which added depth to the dish. I enjoyed the pickled onions and sauces on the side. The side of naan was a delicious addition. A friend ordered the pork sliders and tikka bowl and they said it was delicious as well! They will text you when your order is ready. You can sit outside while you wait for your food and enjoy the nice weather. I look forward to trying more items from their menu. read more

The wings are delicious. I would love to give us a five star review because they were so good! The only problem I have is that I like sauce, and by the way they're homemade ranch garlic sauce is very good, but it is not enough as it comes in a small little container so I had to order more. To my surprise, they wanted to charge me an extra dollar, which isn't that much but because I'm paying about $15 for seven wings, do you think they wouldn't be so stingy about the sauce. But if you don't care about having much to dip your wings in, then I would readjust my rating to a five. read more

Ordered Samosas & wings. Very good. Complicated flavors. Esthetically pleasing. I've neen out West for awhile to escape the nonsense of "the south". There's one business at 'The Silos' still embracing this nonsense with menu items few want to speak out loud. My point is Indigo Kitchen is a breath of fresh air away from the southern nonsense & it is highly appreciated. You can tell the owners are well-traveled. Yum! Generous portions and delicious food!! It was so hard trying to decide what to get! I HAD to get the butter chicken. I love butter chicken! Food was generous and there was a lot of chicken in it. My husband got the banging samosas. The display was beautiful. He also got two phat rolls. After a day of running around the upstate SC foothills, be sure to explore some of the surrounding mountain towns. In the town of Easely, there is a restaurant cooperative called the Grainyard. An open air courtyard surrounded by railcars that were converted i to eateries. Indigo Kitchen is the busiest location, for good reason. I had a Chicken Tikka bowl, and Corn Bhel. The drink i had was the indigo limeade. The food was fresh and delicious, and was delivered very quickly. It was clear that i ordered too much. I left quite full and satisfied. Highly recommend this place for the food and the ambience. Be sure to stay around for the live music. read more

I come here every time I visit my parents in South Carolina, and I think it gets better every time. The flavors are amazing and for it to be in the Silos with nice music and open air just makes the experience even better. I love their butter chicken bowl and their chicken tikka masala bowl. On my first visit to Indigo Kitchen I tried the Peri Peri Frites. Peri Peri Frites are fried sweet potatoes fries with peri peri spices, cheddar cheese and a garlic pepper sauce. That was my first experience tasting Indian food. Today my niece treated me to dinner, my second visit to Indigo Kitchen. It's a walk up and place your order. When you pay for your food you give them your cell phone number, when your order is ready you will receive a text message. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he asked if it was our first time eating Indian food. He was very informative about the menu items, explaining what was in the menu items that we were thinking about ordering. I ordered the Chicken Tikka. Chicken Tikka is white meat chicken that has been marinated in a yogurt, ginger garlic marinade, with Kashmiri chili and their Prem signature spices. It had rice with a cucumber red onion type salsa(I'm sure it wasn't a salsa, but it was similar to that) the garlic pepper sauce drizzled over it with some pickled red onions. My niece ordered the Butter Chicken, which they have on the menu for a limited time. I asked the owner which item on the menu did he think was the best, his response was "all of them"! The chicken tikka was delicious, a little spicy, but not " give me a glass of cold water spicy". I tasted the Butter Chicken, it's was tasty too. If you're looking for authentic Indian food, y'all come on over to the Silos in Easley, and try out Indigo Kitchen you will not be disappointed. read more

Food is too bland and I got a hair in my falafel. I don't know why they don't make the cook wear a hair net. We didn't like any of the food.
